부모-자녀 간 소득이전에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 부모와 자녀 간에 이루어지는 소득이전에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 파악해보는 것이다. 본 연구를 위해 한국노동패널조사 10차년도, 11차년도 자료를 활용하였으며, 수혜자는 부모로, 제공자는 자녀로 설정하여 수혜가능성과 수혜액수준 제공가능성과 제공액수준을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 분석결과, 수혜가능성의 경우에는 부모가구의 소득수준과 잉여자원수준, 가구원 수, 가구주의 성별과 연령, 교육수준, 취업상태, 혼인상태가 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 수혜액수준에는 부모가구의 소득수준과 가구주의 교육수준, 취업상태가 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 부모의 경우 부모가 본인 스스로 경제적 욕구를 충족할 수 있는 상태에 놓여 있을수록 자녀로부터 이전소득을 받을 가능성과 수혜 액수준이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 다음으로 자녀의 경우에는 가구소득과 가구원 수, 가구주의 성별과 연령, 교육수준, 취업상태, 혼인상태가 이전가능성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 가구 소득의 수준과 가구원 수, 가구주의 성별, 교육수준, 혼인상태가 이전액의 양에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 위 결과들을 종합해보면, 자녀의 경우에는 경제적 욕구를 충족할 수 있는 여건이 좋은 자녀일수록 부모에게 더 용이하게 이전소득을 제공하며, 제공하는 이전액의양 또한 더 많은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 위 결과들을 바탕으로 이론적･정책적 함의 또한 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the factors that affect income transfers from children to parents. The data were drawn from KLIPS(Korea Labor and Income Panel Study) vol. 10, 11. For this study, beneficiaries were set as parents and providers as children and income transfers were set as possibility of benefit, level of benefit, possibility of provision and level of provision. The results of this study are as follows: Firstly, in a case of the possibility of benefit, parents-households' income level, surplus resource level, the number of household members, and households' gender, age, education level, employment state, marital status were concluded to influence the possibility of benefit. Secondly, in a case of the level of benefit, parents-households' income level, and education level, employment state were found out to have influence. These results mean that factors which can positively affect parents' satisfaction with economic desires can have a negative effect on the possibility of benefit and level of benefit. Thirdly, in a case of the possibility of provision, children-households's income level, the number of household members, and households' gender, age, education level, employment state, marital status had influence on such possibility. Lastly, in a case of the provision level of income transfer, children-households' income level, the number of household members, household's gender, education level, marital status were found out to have influence on such provision level. These results mean that factors which can positively affect children' satisfaction with economic desires can have positive effect on the possibility of provision and level of provision. These findings have suggested theoretical and policy implications.
