개인 및 기관 수준의 특성이 평생교육기관 선택의도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 성인학습자의 평생교육기관 선택의도에 영향을 미치는 개인 수준의 변인과 기관 수준의 변인을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 연구 목적의 달성을 위해 30개의 평생교육기관의 담당자와 해당 기관의 성인학습자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 21개 기관에서 849부의 자료를 수집하였다. 이와 같이 수집된 자료는 SPSS 18.0과 HML 6.08을 활용하여 분석하였다. 분석을 통해 다음과 같은 연구 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 성인학습자의 평생교육기관 선택의도는 개인과 기관간 차이가 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 개인 수준의 변인을 투입하여 분석한 결과 평생교육기관 이용 기간, 학습적 가치와 학습자 만족도가 통계적으로 유의미하게 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 개인 수준의 모든 변인이 성인학습자의 평생교육기관에 대한 선택의도를 30.51% 설명할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 개인 수준의 변인을 투입한 모형에 기관 수준 변인을 추가로 투입하여 분석한 결과 연간 예산, 학습자 1인당 예산, 직원 1인당 학습자 수, 프로그램 요인이 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 개인 수준의 변인과 기관 수준의 변인은 성인학습자의 평생교육기관에 대한 선택의도를 15.49% 설명할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과를 토대로 평생교육기관에서 학습자 차원 및 기관 차원에서 고려해야 할 서비스에 대해 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of individual and institute characteristics on further future intentions of adult learner. The study examined 1) does the difference exist further future between individuals and institutes 2) if further future intentions are significantly different among institutes after controlling the effect of individual variables, the what factors would explain the difference. The study collected data from 21 practitioners of lifelong educational institutes and 849 leaners of the institutes. For multilevel analysis, HLM 6.08 program and SPSS 18.0 program were used. Findings indicated that 1) adult learner's further future intentions were existed differences between learner and institutes. 2) At the individual level, duration of lifelong educational institute enrolling, learning value, learner's satisfaction were the positive effective predictive variables. Also, at the institute level, program variable of institute marketing factors was the most effective predictive variable among institute level. These findings suggested that lifelong educational institutes have to closely and continually efforts to interactions between and among adult learner and institutes. Also, lifelong educational institutes efforts to active and various plans and policies to improving institute competitive advantage.
