창의−인성교육 프로그램 개발을 위한 유아의 창의성과 교육기관 적응의 관계 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 창의-인성교육 프로그램 개발을 위하여 유아의 창의성과 교육기관 적응의 관계를 알아보는 데 있었다. 연구의 대상은 4, 5세 유아 151명이었고, 창의성 검사와 유치원 적응평가 수정본을 사용하여 수집된 자료를 T-검증, 상관분석, 표준 중다회귀분석을 통해 분석하였다. 그 결과, 유아의 창의성은 교육기관 적응 전체에 유의한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 구체적으로 유창성은 유아의 친사회적 행동과 교육기관에서의 생활 적응에, 정교성은 유아의 자아강도에 유의한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 유아를 대상으로 한 창의성 교육이 유아의 교육기관 적응을 돕는 데 전반적으로 긍정적인 역할을 할 수 있음을 시사하는 것으로 유아의 인성발달 측면에서 볼 때에도 창의성 교육이 필요함을 제안하는 것이다. 다만, 독창성의 경우에는 유아의 친사회적 행동과 교육기관에서의 생활 적응에 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나고 있어 이를 보완하기 위한 교육내용이 창의-인성교육 프로그램에 배치될 필요가 있음이 논의되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between early children's creativity and the adjustment at the educational institution so that develop creativity-personality education program. 151 early children who are four and five years old participated. Data were collected with the structured questionnaire of Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking(TTCT) and modified Preschool Adjustment Questionaire(PAQ). T-test, Simple Correlation Analysis, and ANOVA were performed to analyze the data. The results of this study were as follows. First, the overall scores of creativity correlated positively with those of adjustment at the educational institution. Especially, the overall scores of creativity had a significant positive correlation with ego-strength, pro-social behaviors and peer-competency. Second, the overall scores of creativity influenced positively on those of adjustment at the educational institution. Fluency influenced positively on pro-social behaviors and life adjustment at the educational institution. Elaboration influenced positively on ego-strength. But originality influenced negatively on pro-social behaviors and life adjustment at the educational institution. In conclusion, the result of this study that early children with high creativity can adjust well at the educational institution suggests that we should educate and facilitate creativity to not only early children's intellectual development but also their personality development. The implications of the present study were also discussed.
