국문 초록

본 연구는 영ㆍ유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니들이 품앗이육아공동체 참여과정에서 겪는 긍정적 경험과 어려움을 알아보기 위하여 서울 및 경기지역의 품앗이육아 경험이 있는 어머니 9명을 심층면담하고 이를 질적으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 어머니들의 긍정적 경험은 아이 입장에서는 지속적인 만남의 형성, 또래 친구들과의 관계 형성, 정서적인 안정감, 방대한 교육내용 등이었고, 어머니의 입장에서는 육아에 대한 정보 제공, 스트레스 해소의 장소, 엄마들도 성장하는 기회 등이었고 경제적인 이익도 언급하였다. 어머니들이 경험한 어려움은 아이 입장에서는 또래 친구들과의 갈등, 또래 친구들과의 비교 등이었고 어머니의 입장에서는 어머니들 간의 생각차이, 어머니들의 희생 필요, 공적인 만남에서 사적인 만남으로 등이었다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 품앗이육아 공동체의 활성화와 후속연구를 위한 기초자료가 될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate positive experiences and difficulties through Pumasi child rearing communities of mothers with infants. To achieve this goal, the study conducted In-depth interviews for 9 mothers who had experiences in Pumasi child rearing communities in Seoul and Gyeonggi province. The results showed that mothers gained positive experiences in the child’s―continuous meeting, relationship, stable emotion, and extensive contents of a curriculum―and mother’s position―getting information related to infants, relieving stress, having opportunities to develop, and making a profit. The results also showed that mothers gained difficulties in the child’s―a conflict among friends, comparison among friends, etc―and mother’s position―a difference of opinion among mothers, a need of sacrifice for mothers, a change from public to private meeting. Through this study, positive experiences and difficulties through Pumasi child rearing communities of mothers could be understood and used as fundamental materials for activating Pumasi child rearing communities from now on.
