고등교육 소외계층의 평생학습참여 영향요인에 관한 구조적 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 고등교육 소외계층의 평생학습참여를 설명할 수 있는 이론적 모형을 구안하고, 고등교육 소외계층의 학습자특성, 참여하고 있는 교육기관특성, 참여동기, 참여장애가 평생학습참여도에 미치는 영향을 분석하며, 참여동기와 참여장애가 학습자특성과 교육기관특성을 어떻게 매개하여 평생학습참여도에 영향을 주고 있는지 밝힘으로써 고등교육 소외계층의 평생학습참여도와 관련된 영향요인들을 구조분석하는 데 있다. 연구결과로서 첫째, 학습자특성, 교육기관특성, 참여동기, 참여장애는 모두 고등교육 소외계층의 평생학습참여도에 직접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 이들 변인들의 평생학습 참여도에 대한 전체 영향력의 크기를 분석한 결과, 참여동기, 학습자특성, 교육기관특성, 참여장애의 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 참여동기 및 참여장애는 학습자특성 또는 교육기관특성이 고등교육 소외계층의 평생학습참여도에 간접적인 영향력을 미칠 수 있도록 매개적 역할을 하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the multi-phased effect factors related to participation of the lifelong learning in the alienated class with higher education and to explore the proposed structured relationships among five latent variables(learner’s characteristics, institutional characteristics, motivational levels of participants, participation barriers, participation of the lifelong learning). The major findings of this study can be summarized as follows. First, learner’s characteristics, institutional characteristics, motivational levels of participants, participation barriers had a direct effect on the participation of the lifelong learning. Second, in order of motivational levels of participants, learner’s characteristics, institutional characteristics and participation barriers had the significant effects on the participation of the lifelong learning in the alienated class with higher education. Third, indirect effects of learner’s characteristics and institutional characteristics on the participation of the lifelong learning were mediated by motivational levels of participants and participation barriers.
