보육교사의 1급 승급교육에 대한 인식 및 요구 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 2010년부터 새로이 개편·시행되고 있는 ‘표준보수교육과정’ 중 보육교사 1급 승급교육에 대한 교사들의 인식과 요구를 알아보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 구체적으로는 1급 승급교육의 필요성과 목적, 교육내용(교과목), 교육운영방법, 제도적 개선점 등에 관한 교사들의 인식 및 요구에 초점을 맞추었다. 이를 위해 A대학에서 위탁운영한 1급 승급교육을 이수한 보육교사 363명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 교사들은 1급 승급교육 자체와 2010년도부터 개편된 교육내용(교과목)에 대해서는 대체로 긍정적인 평가를 내리고 있었으나, 승급교육의 전반적인 운영면에서는 여전히 개선되고 보완되어야 할 점들이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 보다 효율적이고 보육교사들의 요구와 필요가 반영되는 1급 승급교육이 될 수 있도록 정책·제도·실제적 측면에서 개선이 이루어질 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate childcare teachers' perceptions and perspectives on the newly developed and implemented In-service Education for Rank 1 Childcare Teacher Certificate from 2010. In particular, to examine the necessity and purposes, contents (courses), administrative methods, and systematic improvements of the In-service Education for Rank 1 Childcare Teacher Certificate was the focus of this study. The subjects were 363 childcare teachers who had just completed the In-service Education for Rank 1 Childcare Teacher Certificate provided by A college; the research tool implemented was a questionnaire. As results of this study, the teachers perceived the education itself and the contents (courses) of the education positively in general; however, there were some weak points of the education which need to be improved further. Based on this study results, the administration of the In-service Education for Rank 1 Childcare Teacher Certificate should be improved to become more effective and responsive to childcare teacher's needs.
