국문 초록

본 논문은 오늘날의 총체적인 생명위기의 문제에 대처하고자 기독교 영성에 입각한 생명윤리를 구축하려고 하는 현대 의 시도들을 종합적으로 분석하려고 한다. 기독교가 현재의 생태적 위기의 직접적인 원인이라고는 하는 주장은 과도한 것이기는 하지만, 기독교 신앙의 생태학적인 함의를 제대로 드러내지 못하여 현대의 위기를 방조한 책임은 있다. 이에 본 논문은 기독교 영성에 입각한 생명윤리, 생태학을 구축하려는 현대적 시도들을 토대로 하여, 기독교 중심교리들, 곧 성부의 창조, 성자의 성육신, 성령의 내주, 그리고 종말론적 구속론을 생태학적으로 재구성하였다. 하나님의 창조 에 입각해서 볼 때에, 인간을 포함한 모든 생명의 절대적 가치와 상호의존성이 드러나며, 아울러서 자연에 대한 인간 의 상대적 존엄성과 자연통제에 대한 도덕적 책임성이 드러난다. 아울러서 인간의 몸과 연합한 그리스도의 성육신은 자연만물과의 연합을 내포하고 있으며, 성령은 생명의 원천으로서 모든 생명체에 세계내재적으로 임재해있다. 또한 종 말론적 구속에는 인간의 몸과 온 생태계 전체가 참여한다. 이런 견지에서 본다면 생태계는 더 이상 하나님 앞에서 펼 쳐지는 인간의 활동을 위한 무대가 아니라, 하나님 앞에서 인간과 함께 활동을 펼치는 동반자이다.

영문 초록

This paper tries to analyze into the contemporary attempts to build bioethics based on Christian spirituality to cope with the current risk of life. It is excessive to claim that Christianity is the direct cause of the current ecological crisis. But it is right to point out the fact that the Christianity paid no proper attention to the ecological implications of the Christian faith. This paper, based on the results from the contemporary Christian bioethics and ecology, reconstructed ecologically central doctrines of Christianity, even the creation of the Father, the Incarnation of the Son, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, and the eschatological redemption. According to the doctrine of God's creation, all life, including humans, has the absolute value of being and the structure of interdependence, while humans have comparative dignity prior to nature and moral responsibility for control of nature. And the Christ who is incarnated and associated with human body embraced all things, all life, and the Holy Spirit as the source of life is immanent in all living things. Also the human body and the entire ecosystem will participate in the eschatological redemption. Seen in this perspective, the ecosystem is no longer the stage for the unfolding of human activities before God, but the companion of humans before God.
