과학영재 고등학생의 완벽주의성향 및 사회적지지가 학교생활 적응에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 과학영재 고등학생을 대상으로 완벽주의 성향 및 사회적 지지가 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향을 알아보고, 그 과정에서 자기효능감이 매개효과가 있는지를 검증하여 과학영재 고등학생에 대한 학습효과의 촉진, 개선방안과 교수방법 및 다양한 자료를 제공함은 물론 성공적인 학교생활 적응을 돕기 위한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 본 연구는 과 학영재고등학교에 다니고 있는 1, 2, 3학년 남녀 학생 총 279명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 연구대상자의 일반적인 특성을 알아보기 위하여 빈도분석을 실시하였으며, 각 변인간의 관계를 살펴보기 위하여 상관관계 및 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 완벽주의 성향과 학교생활적응과의 상관관계는 자기지향 완벽주의 성향이 학교생활 적응의 모든 하위변인에 유의한 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 둘째, 지각된 사회적 지지와 학교생활적응과의 관계는 친구지지, 가족지지, 교사지지 모두 유의한 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 셋째, 자기효능감과 학교생활적응과의 관계는 자신감과 자기조절 효능감이 정적상관을 보였다. 넷째, 완벽주의 성향과 사회적지지, 자기효능감이 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향을 알아본 결과 자기지향적 완벽주의 성향과 자신감, 그리고 교사지지가 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 사회적 부과 완벽주의 성향이 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 완벽주의 성향과 사회적 지지가 자기효능감을 매개로하여 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 회귀분석을 실시한 결과 자기효능감의 하위변인 중 자신감이 매개변인으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 여섯째, 완벽주의 성향, 사회적지지, 자기효능감이 학교생활적응의 하위변인에 영향을 미치는 변인을 확인하기 위하여 enter 방식으로 분석한 결과 자기 지향적 완벽주의 성향에 자신감이 매개하여 수업적응에 유의하였고, 자기 지향적 완벽주의 성향이 자신감을 매개하여 생활적응에 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 과학영재 고등학생의 완벽주의 성향과 사회적 지지가 학교생활적응에 영향을 주는 과정에서 자기효능감이 매개함을 시사하는 것이다.

영문 초록

Thereby, it aims to facilitate science-gifted high school students’ learning effects and provide improvement measures, teaching methods, and various data and also provide foundational data that help develop and implement efficiently the counseling and educational programs to support their successful school life adaptation by understanding their perfectionistic disposition, one of the chief affective characteristics of them. This study conducted a survey to total 279 first, second, and third graders attending a science high school, and the measurement tools used are as listed below. This research conducted frequency analysis to examine the general characteristics of the study subjects and also performed correlation and regression analysis to investigate the correlation among. The results of this paper are as described below. First, in the correlation between perfectionistic disposition and school life adaptation, self-directed perfectionistic disposition showed a significantly positive correlation with all the subvariables of school life adaptation. Second, in the correlation between perceived social support and school life adaptation, all including friend support, family support, and teacher support showed a significantly positive correlation. Third, in the correlation between self-efficacy and school life adaptation indicated a positive correlation with confidence and self-regulating efficacy statistically positive correlation. Fourth, according to the result of examining the effects of perfectionistic disposition, social support, and self-efficacy on their school life adaptation, self-directed perfectionistic disposition , confidence, and teacher support had a positive effect, and socially imposed perfectionistic disposition did not have any negative effect. Fifth, according to the result of conducting regression analysis to examine the effects of perfectionistic disposition and social support on their school life adaptation by mediating self-efficacy, confidence among the subvariables of self-efficacy was significant as a mediating variable. Sixth, according to the result of conducting analysis in the enter method to examine the effects of perfectionistic disposition, social support, and self-efficacy on the subvariables of school life adaptation, confidence mediating self-directed perfectionistic disposition was significant to class adaptation, and self-directed perfectionistic disposition mediating confidence was significant to life adaptation. These results imply self-efficacy mediates in the process that science-gifted high school students’ perfectionistic disposition and social support affect their school life adaptation.
