영문 초록

This paper researched about erecting background and the process of the border gravestone of Baek Du Mt. between Korea and China in the early 18th century. There are two elements to background of erecting border gravestone of Baek Du Mountain. One, the Qing dynasty seriously considered Baek Du Mn. that Manchu race regard to Baek Du Mt. in the cradle of the themselves. The second, a Korean immigrated toward China and the collision occurred with Chinese. In order to erect the border gravestone of Baek Du Mt. between Korea and China advanced the negotiation which is diplomatic. The Qing dynasty led all things but actually about erecting process of the border gravestone of Baek Du Mountain. Qing dynasty refused to erect the border gravestone of Baek Du Mt. site participation of the Bak Kon who represents a Lee dynasty specially. According to it Bak Kon did not participate to erect the border gravestone of Baek Du Mountain. This could not the Korean-Chinese both nations all well. Also the border gravestone of Baek Du Mountain clearly did not reveal about the origin of Du Man River and location of To Mun River. Like this the border gravestone of Baek Du Mt. resultantly was not clear. And because of this, in the future the border gravestone of Baek Du Mt. rather became the cause of the border conflict between Korea and China.
