영문 초록

In modern Japan, the Emperor system was thought to be based on the holy Kokutai - the body of nation - and consited of Japanese imperialism. Any challenge to the system was considered as hostile behavior to Japan and the Japanese people. However, Park-Yeol, a Korean anti-Japanese activist and, his wife, Kaneko-Fumiko, a Japanese female anarchist, struggled against the Emperor system through a direct action. Their action left very unique traces in the modern history of Japan although there were four times of direct actions against the Emperor in the history. Park-Yeol and Kaneko was grown up when ordinary Koreas and Japanese were suffering from the Japanese imperialism and the Emperor system. They could understand people's situation in Korea and Japan under the capitalist exploitation and the expansionist policies toward Korea and Manchuria. Park-Yeol led anarchist group, Heug'uhwe for direct actions. The inclination for the direct actions was alien to the other socialist, communist groups in Tokyo. Another organization, in which he participate, Bullyeongsa was also one of the autonomous anarchist group to propagate anarchism and, sometimes to punish collaborators. In some ways, Bullyeongsa was not a secret rerrorist organization for the uprising. Park-Yeol and Kaneko planned to throw a bomb at the prince's wedding and actually tried to get a bomb in from Eui'yeoldan(Righteous Action Group in China) in 1923. Though they delayed the action because of the internal conditions, the Japanese government and the Prosecutor's Office detected their plan and forged 'the riot plan of Koreans', 'the assassination conspiracy of the Emperor.' Their 'crime' was used to justify the Korean massacre when the Toyko Great Earthquake took place on September, 1st. Park and Kaneko declared their belief in the struggle against the Emperor system in the courts and could prevented the prosecutors from making Bullyeongsa a scapegoat. Their struggle was based on nihilism, nationalism, and egalitarianism. They opposed to the Emperor system because Park-Yeol was one of the Korean people who were being slaughtered and because Kaneko was one of the Japanese people who dreamed of mutual prosperity of the humankind. They struggled against the system because they had discovered the self and freedom of the individuals. Kaneko realized that the Emperor system lay at the top of the oppressive power which deprived people of the self. She thought the Emperor was only "empty flesh and a marionette" and she intended to announce the thought. Park told in the court that he wanted to hurt the divinity of the Imperial House," as a symbol of power bolders exploiting sweat and blood of Korean and Japanese people. They respected the direct actions, propaganda by terrors and social revolution through the general strike and revolt. They disregard political movements and had anit-communism. They got disillusioned at the hypocritical socialists who only had desire for power, especially at the Bolshevik regime. Their anti-communism conflicted with the Korean students, including Kim-Yak-su, who studied abroad. But their anti-communist thought was still basic and emotional. Their thought was not in the sphere of anarchism in its earnest meaning.
