영문 초록

The purpose of this paper is to explain the meaning change of ‘jeonbottae’. The meaning of ‘jeonbottae’ has changed as follow; 1) The new meaning of ‘jeonbottae’ had been created as [obstacle of running], which is made by a specific situational context, And its meaning is used in a context that has partly different from the origin one. 2) If ‘jeonbottae’ is used in a concept domain of ENTERPRISE in terms of metonymy, its meaning can be extended [regulation of enterprise action by public agency]. 3) If ‘jeonbottae’ is used in a different concept domain in terms of metaphor, its meaning can be extended [regulation of X action by public agency] and [regulation of X action by Y] in turn. Meaning change took semantic relation shift, and ‘jeonbottae’ can be collocated with ‘ppopda’.
