국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 조음장애아동에게서 가장 자주 대치되는 말소리인 /ㅅ/ 와 /ㅆ/ 의 발달 및 습득과정을 자세히 알아보는 것이다. 2- 7세 정상아동 286명을 연구대상으로 60개의 그림카드를 사용하여 한국어의 /ㅅ/ 와 /ㅆ/ 에 해당되는 4개의 말소리, 즉 [s], [s], [s], 그리고 [s']를 검사하였다. 그리고 19개의 반응범주를 사용하여 2명의 평가자가 전체 아동의 반응을 평가- 분석하였다. 연구결과 /ㅅ/ 계열소리는 [s], [s], [s], 그리고 [s']의 순서로 발달되었으며 다른 모음에 비해 /이/ 모음 앞에서 가장 먼저 습득되었다. 또한 /ㅅ/ 계열 소리는 생략 및 /h/ 로부터 시작하여 치경파열음(/ t/ , /t'/ 또는 /th/), 파찰음(/c/ , /c/ 또는 /ch/), 구개마찰음(/s/ 또는 /s/), 그리고 치간마찰음(/Θ/ 또는 /Θ/) 등의 과정을 거쳐 발달되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the process of acquisition and development of / s/ (lax) and / s / (tense), which are most frequently substituted Korean speech sounds by children with articulatory-phonological disorder s. Two hundred and eighty- six subject s aged 2- 7 year s old participated In the study. Sixty picture cards were used to elicit the children s productions of four Korean sounds, [ ], [ ], [s], and [s ], which correspond to the allophonic realizations of the two Korean sounds / s/ and / s / . All the test procedures were tape- recorded and the responses of all subject s were evaluated by two examiner s. The result s of the present study can be summarized as follows : (1) The developmental sequential order of the target sounds were found to be [ ], [ ], [s], and [s ]; (2) It was found that the target sounds were acquired fir st in the initial position of the syllable preceding / i/ ; (3) In terms of omissions and substitutions, the fricative consonant s in concern are fir st omitted, and then substitutions with either alveolar stops (/ t/ , / t / , or / th/ ) or affricates (/ c/ , / c / , or / ch/ ) occur , which is followed by the substitutions with palatalized fricatives (/ / or / / ). In the next stage, the interdental fricative of / / substitutes for / s/ or / s /.
