국문 초록

남북한 민족통일 담론에서 남북이 의식하고 있는 '민족'의 이념이란 무엇인지 살피고, 민족의 정체성을 구성하는 요소를 남북이 공통적으로 인정할 수 있는지를 성찰한다. 또한 남북의 정치 경제 상황을 넘어 항구적인 남북통일의 정당성을 어떻게 근거 지을 수 있는지, 그리고 통일국가의 공동비전은 무엇인지를 파악한다. 남북통일의 정당성 토론으로부터 인도주의, 자연법적 선, 평화 그리고 좋은 통일국가의 비전으로 세계 평화의 원칙, 민주공화국의 원칙, 인권의 원칙, 그리고 친환경적 원칙을 도출한다. 이러한 통일의 정당성과 통일국가의 공동비전에 대한 남북의 합의도출이야말로 그 어떤 정략적, 실용적 접근에 앞서 근본적이고 보편적인 민족의 가치를 추구하는데 중요하다는 점이 강조될 것이다.

영문 초록

First of all I try to define the ideas of the nation which the South and the North side are conceptualizing in the discourse of the Reunification of Koreas, and reflect if both sides accept the common factors of which the identity of the nation is composed. And I discuss how we ground the perpetual justification of the ramification of the South and North, and what is the visions of the reunified state. Through this discussion on the justification of the reunification we can draw out some grounds from the humanism, the natural good, the peace and the outspread of the good values and! ideas. We can deduce the visions of the reunified state, for examples, the principle of the world peace, the principle of the democratic republicity, the principle of the human rights and the principle of the pro-environment. It will be stressed that the justification of the reunification and the agreement of the South and the North 00 common visions of the unified state are more important than the strategical and practical approaches.
