국문 초록

본 연구는 한글 書體 分類體系의 불명확함과 書體名稱 槪念의 애매모호함을 극복하고 객관적인 분류 체계를 세워 개념이 명확한 명칭 제시를 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 한글 서체 분류 체계와 명칭의 현황을 고찰하여 문제점을 분석하고, 그 원인을 규명하였다. 한글 서체 분류 체계 실태를 분석한 결과, 표면적으로 드러나는 문제점은 한글 서체 명칭의 亂立, 서체 명칭에 대한 불명확한 개념 파악, 서체 분류 체계의 不實이다. 이들의 근본적인 원인은 書學에 대한 인식의 결여, 한글에 대한 총체적인 이해 부족, 그리고 분류의 객관적 기준 제시의 미흡으로 드러났다. 이를 해결하기 위하여 분류의 새로운 기준을 설정하고, 이 기준으로 서체의 유형을 분석하여, 최종적으로 한글 서체 분류 체계를 제시한다. 첫째, 분류의 새로운 기준 설정. 서체를 ‘형태상 공통된 특징에 따라 체계를 이룬 서예의 글씨체’로 정의하고, 이에 근거하여 한글 서체 분류의 기준을 用筆과 結構의 差異로 설정했다. 둘째, 새로운 기준에 의한 서체 유형 분석. 『훈민정음』과 『월인천강지곡』, 『옥원듕회연』 권지뉵과 『낙셩비룡』, 서기이씨 〈봉셔〉를 대상으로 그 용필과 결구를 분석하고 한글 서체 형태상의 특성을 抽出하였다. 셋째, 한글 서체 분류 체계 수립. 형태상 공통된 특징에 따라 한글 서체의 분류를 『훈민정음』ㆍ『월인천강지곡』한글 글씨체의 서체 유형과 『옥원듕회연』권지뉵의 서체 유형, 『낙셩비룡』의 서체 유형, 서기이씨 〈봉셔〉의 서체 유형으로 체계화하였다. 마지막으로 새로운 한글 서체의 명칭을 ‘새김체’, ‘참체’, ‘반흘림체’, ‘흘림체’로 제시하여, 새로운 개념을 擔持하였다. 새김체는 ‘판본에 새긴 것과 같은 글씨체’로, 참체는 ‘한글 서예의 법도가 온전히 갖추어진 참한 서체’로, 반흘림체는 ‘참체와 흘림체의 속성을 반반씩 가지고 있으면서, 흘림체보다 흘림의 정도가 약한 서체’로, 그리고 흘림체는 ‘참체를 흘려서 쓴 글씨체’로 개념을 설정하였다.

영문 초록

The aim of this study is to overcome the uncertainty of the classification system of Hangeul handwriting style and the ambiguity of the concept of handwriting style names, to construct the objective classification system, to present the clear name. For this, the paper has tried to consider the present status of the classification system and the name of Hangeul Seoye, to analyze its issues and look into their causes, and to find the way to solve them. A basis principle for this study is set up to nowness, popularity, subjecthood. I categorize a whole Hangeul Seoye, but select the most general works for the concrete analysis of the style. First of all, we have to find out what is the problem of the present state and where is the cause. Studies have shown that the problem lies in the confusion of the Hangeul handwriting style names, the obscure grasp of Hangeul handwriting style names, and the untrustworthy of the classification system of Hangeul handwriting style. This three factor work in combination. The fundamental cause of this problem lies in lack of the understanding for Seoye Learning, the limit of Hangeul's general recognition and the shortage of the basis for classification. In order to solve these issue, I establish the new standard of classification, and owing to this standard, analyze the type of Hangeul style, finally present the classification system of the Hangeul handwriting style. First, to establish the new standard. Handwriting style is the one of Seoye systematized by the common features according to its form. The most important thing of the concept of handwriting is the common feature of form. Therefore, the standard of its classification is established with the difference between using brushes and concluding letters. Second, owing to the new standard, to analyze the type of Hanguel style. analysis for classification is performed with 『The Korean script』,『Worincheongangjigok』,『 Ogwondyunghoeyeon』,『Naksyeongbiryong』, 〈Bongsyeo〉are served as the object of using brushes and concluding letters. Thirdly, to present the establishment of the classification system of the Hangeul handwriting style. The classification system is divided into four Hangeul style according to their common features. Four Hangeul style is 『The Korean script』 and 『Worincheongangjigok』 Hangeul style, 『Ogwondyunghoeyeon』 Hangeul style, 『Naksyeongbiryong』 Hangeul style, 〈Bongsyeo〉Hangeul style. Lastly, I has proposed that Hangeul style’s names according to its classification should be called ‘Saegim style’, ‘Cham style’, ‘Banheullim style’, ‘Heullim style’. ‘Saegim style’ means the one that is sculptured in a block book, and ‘Cham style’ means the genuine one that has the entire rule of Hangeul Seoye, and ‘Banheullim style’ means the one that has halves of the properties of ‘Cham style’ and ‘Heullim style’ and scribbles less than ‘Heullim style’, and ‘Heullim style’ means the style that scribbles ‘Cham style’.
