국문 초록

교육은 인간을 다루고 인간다움으로 형성한다. 따라서 교육의 이해 지평은 인간이해와 일치한다. 생태학적 인간이해는 생태학적 패러다임으로 교육을 새로운 지평에서 - 또 다른 지평에서 - 이해하기 위함이다. 이는 교육 이해의 지평을 새롭게 넓혀주는 근거를 제공할 수 있다. 생태학적 결론에 의하면, 생명은 “자기조직화”의 근거이며 결과이다. 따라서 인간 역시 지구상의 다른 생명체들과 다 름없이 오로지 자기조직화를 통해서만 살아남고 살아갈 수 있는 생태계의 구속적 지체일 뿐이다. 만약 우리가 생태학적 관점 및 생태학적 패러다임 전환의 관점을 수용한다면, 첫째, 자기창조와 자기갱신을 허용하는 창의성 교육, 둘째, 모든 방향으로의 개방성 즉 열린 교육, 셋째, 개체성과 다양성을 추구하는 개성화 교육, 넷째, 교사-학생간의 상호의존적 관계성을 회복시키는 만남과 대화의 교육은 교육의 본질회복을 위해 (학문적으로도) 정당하다.

영문 초록

In general, education deals with human subjects and forms the humanity in human. Therefore, the horizons of educational understanding are consistent with human understanding. Deep-ecological understanding of human beings in the ecological paradigm is to understand educational realities in a new dimension as a scientific research. A new horizon of educational understanding that this paper presents can provide scientific evidences to understand our educational issues. According to the ecological conclusion, life is the natural evidence and result of "self-organization". A human being is a member in ecosystem that depends on living activity of self-organizing like other creatures on our planet. If we accept this ecological perspective in ecological paradigm shift developed in this study we can recover the essence of education: education to permit the possibility of self-creating and self-renewing, education to open in all directions, education to consider the individuality and the personal diversities, and education to recover the interdependent relationship between teachers and learners.
