국문 초록

다른 낭만주의 작가들처럼 에미네스쿠는 현실의 염세주의와 비현실의 낙관주의의 극단적인 대립사이에서 고뇌했던 시인이다. 이 고통스런 현실로부터 벗어나서 비현실적인 세계로 도피하기 위해 에미네스쿠는 잠을 완전히 지배했고 시적인 비옥함을 얻었다. 이 때문에 에미네스쿠의 꿈에서는 구체적인 초월의 그림들이 나타난다. 시 “죽음이란!”, “꿈”, “마구스의 별 여행 이야기”, “졸린 새들” 등과 산문“고독한 천재“ 등이 이것을 잘 표현하고 있으며 잠과 꿈의 의미가 구체화되어 있다. 잠은 이루지 못한 사랑의 아픔 등 모든 현실의 고통을 제거하고 평화롭고 조화로운 세계를 창조한다. 또 잠속에서 분리된 영혼은 절대적인 인식을 얻는 가능성을 제공한다. 이 때문에 시인은 시적인 창작력과 표현력을 잠 속에서 전개하기를 원했고 시에 투영된 것이다. 에미네스쿠의 이러한 경향은 서유럽의 낭만주의 영향과 루마니아의 민속정신이 만들어준 결과이다.

영문 초록

As the other Romantic writers, Eminescu is known as a poet which aonized in the extreme confrontation between the real pessimism and the unreal optimism. Eminescu perfectly dominated the sleep and obtained the poetic fertility through it in order to escape from the painful reality to the unreal world. Therefore the transcendental pictures concretely appeared in Eminescu's dream. We can find this concrete meaning of the sleep and dream also in his poems such as "Mortua est!", "Visul', ''Povestea magului călător în stele", "Somnoroase păsărele" and his prose like "Geniu pustiu". The sleep creates a peaceful and harmonious world excluding all of the realistic pains like the agony of the unattainable love etc. Moreover, the separated soul within sleep offers the possibility through which it can be acquired the absolute recognition. According to these, the poet desired to unfold the creative power and the poetic expression in the sleep and threw these images in his poems. This tendency of Eminescu was based on the influence of Western Europe's romanticism and the Romanian ethnic spirits.
