국문 초록

성인문해교육에 대한 지원이 확대되면서 교육의 질 관리를 위한 체계적인 평가지원의 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 성인문해교육 프로그램의 평가 요구를 분석함으로써 평가의 현 상황을 조망하고 향후 성인문해교육의 질 관리를 위한 정책적 지원 방향을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 실시되었다. 기관의 성인문해교육 담당자 121명을 대상으로 성인문해교육의 프로그램 논리에 근거하여 교육 평가의 필요수준과 현재수준에 대한 설문조사를 실시한 결과, 필요수준이 높은 항목은 교육내용 난이도의 적절성, 학습을 통한 기술향상정도, 강사의 강의태도 등으로 나타났으며, 낮은 항목은 문해율, 사회통합 수준, 휴게 및 다과지원 등으로 나타났다. 한편 현재수준이 높은 항목은 교육시간 및 운영, 장소 및 시간안내, 교육목표 및 의지 등으로 나타났으며, 낮은 항목은 사회통합 수준, 문해율, 휴게 및 다과지원 등으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 기반으로 The Locus for Focus Model에 따라 평가의 우선순위를 분석한 결과 교육내용의 적합도, 난이도의 적절성, 강사의 내용전문성, 강사의 강의스킬, 강사의 강의태도, 학습자의 교육참여동기, 학습을 통한 기술 향상 정도에 대한 평가 요구가 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

This paper is intended as an investigation of evaluation needs of the adult literacy educational program. Program theory perspective was adopted to analyze the adult literacy educational program. Based on the adult literacy educational program. theory, current and required level of each components were surveyed and the most needed evaluation objects and findings were as follow. The most required evaluation objects were "the degree of difficulty of contents", "the level of skill improvement" and "teaching attitude of lecturer" in descending order. The least required evaluation objects were "literacy rate", "social integration level" and "refreshment supports." The highest current evaluation objects were "scheduling and operating", "notice about place and time" and "awareness learning objectives and will of learner." The lowest current evaluation objects were "social integration level", "literacy rate" and "refreshment supports." The level of evaluation needs was analyzed by using the locus for focus model. 7 evaluation objects included "relevance of learning contents", "the degree of difficulty of contents", "contents expertise of lecturer", "teaching skill of lecturer", "teaching attitude of lecturer", "learner's motivation to participate in program" and "the level of skill improvement" were so needed to be evaluated that they were marked higher than mean in both required level and discrepancy level. This result suggest that evaluation system and support needed to manage quality of adult literacy education program.
