국문 초록

본 연구는 교육현장에서 실질적으로 청각장애 학생들을 가르치면서 출판만화가 가진 기호체계를 응용하여 의성어, 의태어를 만화를 통해 학습시키고 추상적인 추상어들은 일러스트와 비교하여 학습시키는 등 노력을 기울인 끝에 출판만화를 text로 하여 6개월 이상 연구한 결과 일반 책을 읽는 학생들보다 만화를 읽는 학생들이 언어-특히 부사인 의성어와 의태어-에 대한 이해도가 높은 것으로 보여지기 때문에 이러한 교육 현장에서 세운 가설들은 실제 연구를 통해 증명하여 만화를 학습에 방해되는 요소로 생각하는 구시대적인 관점을 지양하고 출판만화가 청각장애인의 언어능력에 미치는 영향은 연령별로 비교 분석하여 청각장애인의 언어학습 방법에 하나로 출판만화를 응용한 언어프로그램을 개발에 도움을 주는 것을 목적으로 한다.

영문 초록

In the process of rehabilitation counseling, many counselors expect or would like their clients to be verbal and able te express their thoughts and feeling openly and clearly. However, verballization is not as highly valued in many minority cultures. For example, the deaf usually believe that nonverbal behaviors or sign are more important than verbal behaviors in communication because the former is a more accurate reflection of what a person is thinking than the latter. That example show, how important sign, such as the sign is superior to all others. Since the deafness of vocabulary is seen as traditionally related to sign, the mimesis and onomato-poeia in comics is therefore seen as dependent on the signal text. Traditional treatment of comics is to be more negative. Even though consisting of approximately 5000 educational comic books. Based on the Gibbun-woori survey of comic in 2000, the rate of work among dearness who is educated by comic0strip text is 0.08 times higher than that of the general deafness population. The mimesis and onomato-poeia is one of signal process. Therefore the mimesis and onomato-poeia in comics have on positive influence of deafness' vocabulary.
