국문 초록

본 연구는 태백폐광지역의 병원요양 진폐증환자 570명을 대상으로 가족사항, 병원에서의 일상생활, 질병치료에 대한 사항을 포함하는 설문조사를 통해 드러난 분석결과를 토대로 진폐증환자의 일반적인 특성과 욕구에 부응하는 생활·심리 재활프로그램을 제안하였다. 각 재활프로그램에는 기본방향과 제안하는 재활내용, 추진방안, 그리고 기대효과를 설명하였다. 현재 우리나라에서는 진폐증환자를 대상으로 한 재활프로그램을 운영하고 있지 않으며, 이에 대한 논의도 본 논문에서 처음으로 시도하는 바 실천경험을 통한 practice wisdom이나 축적된 기존연구를 통해 지적 idea를 갖지 못하여 연구의 깊이를 기대하기는 어렵다. 그럼에도 불구하고 본 연구는 재활프로그램 대상자에 대한 이해를 기초로 하여 이들의 욕구에 근접하는 종합적인 대책을 세우려 했으며, 특히 대상집단에 따라서는 재활에 선행하여 환경개선에 주력함으로써 재활의 동기를 먼저 고취시켜야 효과적인 재활활동을 할 수 있다는 입장을 강조하고 있다.

영문 초록

This study has been conducted under the purpose of developing rehabilitation programs for the hospitalized Pneumocaonoisis patients who is suffering with difficulties in breath, serious cough, and lung problems with tuberculosis, emphysema, pulmonale, and other lung-related diseases. In order to obtain accurate information and comprehensive understanding regarding the subject of the rehabilitation programs, 570 hospitalized Pneumocaonoisis patients in Taebek shut-down mine area were surveyed by the researcher. Based on the result of the survey and researcher's field and people observation, the rehabilitation programs were developed under two areas of concerns; one is for living rehabilitation, the other is for emotional and psychological rehabilitation. Due to socio-demographic characteristics of the subject group, which are old, poor, and under-educated ex-physical workers, they need to solve some urgent basic needs, including emotional problems before participating in any rehabilitation attempts. Therefore, this rehabilitation programs recommended pre-rehabilitation phase for preparing and motivating main course of the programs. And many parts of the programs focused on providing social services for meeting basic needs of the subject group. The researcher convinced that ignoring their needs and conditions must lead the programs into cavity. Therefore, the most important part of developing rehabilitation programs is understanding genuine life of the subject and their real capacity and ability of enjoying the programs.
