기혼여성의 직장‧가정균형과 삶의 질의 상호관계

국문 초록

본 연구는 여성가족패널조사(2007)자료를 활용하여 기혼여성의 직장‧가정균형과 삶의 질 사이의 관계를 실증 분석하였다. 직장‧가정균형의 세 가지 구성요소는 시간균형, 몰입도 균형, 만족도 균형으로 평가하였다. 위계적 회귀분석 결과, 시간균형에서는 근로와 가사시간의 총합이 길어질수록 삶의 질은 낮아졌으며, 몰입도 균형에서는 가정역할에 대한 몰입도가 직장역할에 대한 몰입도보다 클수록 삶의 질이 개선되었으며, 몰입도 합과 몰입도 균형의 교호효과는 삶의 질에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 만족도 균형에서는 직장-가정 만족도 총합이 큰 사람일수록, 만족도 합과 만족도 균형의 교호효과의 경우도 삶의 질에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 추정되었다. 이와 같은 분석결과는 향후연구의 시사점에 관한 논의 또는 현재 일-가정양립지원제도의 실효성을 제고하는데 기여할 것으로 판단된다.

영문 초록

This study reviewed and analyzed the relationship between the quality of life and balancing work and family for married women from the data of Korean Longitudinal Survey of Women & Family(2007). The study looked at three assessment factors for balancing work and family; time balance, involvement balance, and satisfaction balance. Hierarchical regression analysis result showed that for time, the longer the total sum of the hours working in the office and home, the lower the quality of life. For level of involvement, greater the devotion on the family role than the office role, the better the quality of life, and the interaction effect of the total level of involvement and balancing the amount of involvement impacted the quality of life in a negative effect. Lastly, for the level of satisfaction, greater the total satisfaction from both work and family, greater the positive impact made on the quality of life from the interaction effect of the total satisfaction and balancing the satisfaction level. These results will contribute to further discussion of future researches and will promote the effectiveness of the current system to support compatible working and family life.
