국문 초록

본 연구는 ‘누구나, 언제 어디서나 원하는 교육을 받을 수 있는 열린 교육사회, 평생학습사회 건설’을 위하여 정보통신 기술을 기반으로 한 e-Learning만족과 학업성과에 미치는 요인들을 분석하여 지식기반사회에서 필요로 하는 인재양성방안을 모색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 충남지역 K대학 사회복지학과에 시간제로 등록하여 e-Learning 수업을 수강한 학생 203명에 대한 설문조사내용을 활용하였다. 자료들은 SPSS ver 13.0을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, e-Learning요인들이 학업성과에 미치는 영향력은 유의미하게 나타나지 않았으나 학습만족에는 시스템요인과 교수자능력요인이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 e-Learning 시간제 등록수강생들의 학업성과를 객관적으로 평가할 수 있는 지표가 절대적으로 필요하고, e-Learning의 학습만족을 위하여 학습자가 사용하기에 쉽고 간단한 콘텐츠구축 및 자동설명시스템설정 등이 우선적으로 이루어져야 할 것이며 도움이 필요한 경우 즉시 해결이 가능한 체계가 제공되어야 할 것이다. 또한, 교수자는 강의뿐만 아니라 전체 수업의 지휘자로서 다양한 역할을 담당해야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to analyze the students’ satisfaction with e-learning based on information and communication technology, and its effect of influential factors on the students academic performance, ‘to build a society of open education and a life-long learning’, where everyone can receive an education regardless of place and time. To this end, this study utilized a questionnaire survey participated by 203 students of K University in the Chungnam province, who were enrolled as part-time students at Department of Social Welfare and took classes of e-learning. The data collected were analyzed, using the statistical program of SPSS Ver. 13.0. According to the results of the study, the effect of e-learning factors on the students’ academic performance was not found to be significant, but their satisfaction with e-learning was found to be affected by such factors as system and teachers’ capability. Accordingly, it is imperatively necessary that guidelines, which can be used to objectively evaluate e-learners’ academic performance, should be available. In addition, development of contents and settings of automatic explanation system, which are easy and simple to use by learners, needs to be established before anything else to improve learners’ satisfaction with e-learning. A system which enables the prompt solutions available when necessary should be also offered. To add, teachers should assume a variety of roles in terms of both preparing for quality lectures and a conductor who manages the whole instruction.
