전북 식품산업 클러스터의 식품물류 효율화 방안

국문 초록

소비자들의 소득수준 향상에 따라 웰빙에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 신선식품과 냉동식품의 신성도와 품질 안정성에 대한 소비자의 의식이 급격히 높아지고 있다. 나아가 WTO체제로의 전환과 여러 나라와의 FTA 체결이 늘어남에 따라 수입식품의 급증으로 국내시장의 확보와 경쟁력 강화를 위해서 CCS의 도입과 운영 효율화 전략이 매우 중요한 과제로 등장하였다. 식품 원가구조에서 유통비용이 45%(05년) 차지하므로 우선 이런 고비용 구조를 어떻게 뛰어넘을 것인가 하는 대응방안에 대해 살펴본다. 다음으로 최근 붐이 일고 있는 각 지자체의 식품클러스터 조성으로 식품비지니스 기회의 증대와 이에 따른 식품물류 전략은 무엇인지 전북 식품 클러스터를 중심으로 살펴본 것이 본 논문의 목적이다. 그 이유로는 식품클러스터의 조성시 식품의 개발(R&D)과 생산도 중요하지만 매우 높은 비중을 차지하는 물류비를 간과해서는 식품산업의 경쟁우위 달성이 어렵기 때문이다. 따라서 식품클러스터로 지정된 전북이 이를 추진할 경우 고비용 구조 극복을 위한 식품물품 전략은 식품기업의 내부혁신과 이를 위한 파트너 기업의 역량을 활용하는 방향에서 효율적인 저온유통을 위해 국내의 경쟁력 있는 3PL사를 활용하여 원료의 조달부터 식품의 생산단계와 거점물류센터 및 지역배송센터를 거쳐 매장에 이르기까지 신선식품의 일관된 공급과 효율적인 식품물류시스템의 구축 및 이를 저렴한 비용으로 달성하는 방안에 대하여 고찰한다.

영문 초록

The field of food logistics and supply chain management is becoming strategically important. At the same time, it are becoming increasingly complex because of the rapid advances in management methods including ‘U-commerce, traceability system and enabling logistics network configuration’. Professional logistics such as the Third party Logistics integrates the supply chain function to achieve maximum efficiency and low cost operations in food logistics. Food companies are interested in developing collaborative relationships with the Third Party Logistics providers who create leaner, more efficient logistics practices within their supply chain. Namely, it would be better that 3PL is adopted in distribution channel than that food companies distribute by themselves. As studying the main idea of this research that is how to make efficient ‘Food Logistics’, conclusions below have been settled; ① Introduction of ‘cold chain mark’ for strengthening the safety and differentiation of food ② Introduction and activation of 3PL business ③ Dealing with of mutational consumer needs efficiently by propelling ‘Food SCM’ which connects producer with processor, distributor, and ultimate consumer ④ Promoting and activating of joint food logistics(processor, distributor and regional producer alliance) ⑤ Building ‘logistical information network system’ based on EDI(VAN) ⑥ Construction of statistics data base of food industry and food logistics ⑦ Providing education for manpower in food logistics ⑧ Adopting supportive taxation system : for example, reducing surtax of 3PL business ⑨ Development and popularization of new preservation technology in frozen food
