국문 초록

중국의 지속적 성장은 관련 국가에서 기회와 위협으로 작용하기에 충분하며, 이러한 현상들로 인해 동북아 지역 국가들은 물류부문에서 자체적 혹은 공동이익을 극대화하기 위해 각기 비교우위를 가진 부문을 특화하고 발전시켜 네트웍을 구축해 나가고 있다. 최근 군산항 발전은 지리학적 측면이나 항만의 특성을 볼 때, 중국항만과의 연계나 네트워크 구축 없이는 실효성이 없을 것으로 보인다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 국제물류환경 변화에 따른 항만물류의 기본적 발전요소와 중국 항만물류의 경쟁요소를 찾아 이에 적합한 군산항의 비교우위 부문을 도출하고 발전 방안을 모색하고자 한다. 군산항의 경우 중소형항만의 문제점과 더불어 중국이라는 대규모의 항만과 경쟁해야하는 위치에 서있다. 따라서 군산항자체 시설확장과 네트워크화 된 통합적 접근의 방향에서 발전방향이 이루어져야 할 것으로 보인다.

영문 초록

The progress of globalization is increasing international trades and the trade volume, which is causing all the nations to make efforts for uneventful service of port logistics and bigger international logistics volume. Since marine transportation takes more than 90% of international logistics volume, a continuous growth of overseas trade will offer an opportunity for the development of port logistics. This growth in China is the condition enough to be opportunity and threat as well, so it is very important for each country in Northeast Asia to establish a network along with the development and specialization of the comparably superior sectors in order to maximize common interest in logistics field. Considering the characteristics of its port and geographical aspect, the development of Gunsan Port is not likely to be effective without establishment of any network or connection with Chinese ports.
