여성의 범죄 두려움의 사회심리학적 요인에 관한 연구

국문 초록

  이 연구에서는 범죄에 대한 두려움의 요인을 사회심리학적 모형에 근거하여 검증하고자 하였다. 특히 설문대상을 성인 여성으로 한정하여 실제적인 범죄피해경험으로는 설명하기 어려운 두려움의 원인을 사회심리학적으로 규명하고자 하였다.
  검증결과, 사회심리학적 모형은 범죄에 대한 구체적 두려움에 대해서 가장 높은 설명력(R² = .28)을 제공하고 있었고, 구체적인 범죄 유형별로는 비면식범에 의한 성폭행의 두려움에 가장 높은 설명력 (R² = .22)을 지니고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 세부요인별로 보면, 범죄표적으로서의 매력성에 대한 인식과 범죄화가 가능한 공간에 대한 지각은 거의 모든 유형의 두려움에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났고, 다만 절도와 강도에서는 힘에 대한 확신과 타인에 대한 경계심이 그다지 유의미한 영향력을 행사하지 못하였다. 힘은 비면식범에 의한 폭행 및 성폭행의 두려움에 대해 부적(-)인 영향을 미치고 있어, 자신의 힘에 대한 평가가 낮을수록 두려움은 증가하였다. 타인에 대한 경계심은 면식범에 의한 폭행과 성폭행의 두려움에 정적(+)인 영향을 미치고 있어, 평소 타인에 대한 경계심이 높을수록 두려움이 증가함을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

  In this investigation was the social psychological model the primary factor on women"s fear of crime. The questionnaires were particularly limited on women to examinate the cause about the real and difficult to explain crime-damaged experiences limited on the social psychological model.
  As a result of the inspection, the social psychological model offered the most explanation(R²= .28) about the exact examples on fear of crime, and in the concrete cases on crime turned out that the fear of strangers rape included the most authority(R²= .22).
  In details, it turned out that in a space which enables the recognition of attractivity of the crime target and also the criminalizable space influences the most cases of fear. But, in the case of theft and robbery turned out that the confidence of power and the evil intent did not play a big role. Power is negative influencing the violence done by a stranger and fear of rape, if somebody was valuate its power lower, the more increased the fear. The evil intent is positive influencing the violence committed by an acquaintance and the fear of crime, so that turned out if the evil intent is higher, the more increased the fear.
