영문 초록

  It is very important to effectively search for the required documents in the Web that has diverse and huge amount of information.
  In term-based Web document search, the search engine shows the user a list of the Web documents that contain the keyword the user wants to find. Such retrieval methods use some weighting mechanism to identify required documents.
  In this paper, we present an effective method to calculate the weights of Web documents for term-based Web document search. Most of existing methods count the number of terms occurring in the documents. We give different weights to HTML tags in Web documents and compute the weight of each document accordingly.
  We verify the adequacy of our method by comparing the experimental results with other approaches.
