국문 초록

  본 연구는 어머니의 소비자교육인식 및 소비자기능과 아동의 소비자기능간의 관계를 파악함으로써 아동이 바람직한 소비자로 성숙하기 위하여 어머니가 자녀에게 가져야 할 소비지도 방안을 모색하는 데 도움을 줄 뿐 아니라 이 분야의 연구에 기초자료를 제공하는 데 그 목적이 있다.
  본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 아동의 소비자기능과 유의한 관련을 보인 인구통계학적 변수는 아동의 성별, 학년, 용돈크기, 어머니의 연령, 학력, 가계소득이었다. 둘째, 어머니의 소비자교육인식 및 소비자기능 상ㆍ중ㆍ하 정도에 따른 자녀의 소비자기능 수준은 유의한 차이를 보이고 있었다. 즉 어머니의 소비자교육인식 및 소비자기능이 상인 집단의 자녀가 높은 소비자기능 수준을 나타냈다. 셋째, 자녀의 소비자기능 수준에 영향을 미치는 제 변수들의 독립적인 영향력을 분석한 결과 어머니의 소비자기능이 가장 큰 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

  This study is intended to help find consumer education program for mother to provide for her children so that they can cultivate desirable consumer habit and to introduce fundamental data for research on this field as it explores the relation between mother’s consumer education cognition and her consumer skills and her children’s consumer skills.
  First, the demographic variables which have a significant relation with children’s consumer skills turn out to be her children’s sex, children’s school year, and amount of pocket money for children, mother’s age, her academic background, her household income.
  Second, the level of children’s consumer skills is significantly different as the level of their mother’s consumer education cognition and her consumer skills are high or medium or low; A group of children whose mother’s consumer education cognition and her consumer skills are high has high level of consumer skills.
  Third, analysis of independent influence of all of the related variables to affect the level of children’s consumer skills reveals mother’s consumer skills have the most significant influence on her children"s consumer skills.
