문해 발달에 대한 유치원교사의 신념에 대한 연구

국문 초록

  본 연구는 현직 유치원 교사들이 가지고 있는 문해 발달에 대한 신념을 알아보았다. 또한 학력과 경력, 총체적 언어접근을 배운 경험의 유ㆍ무에 따른 차이를 비교하였다. 이에 따른 결과를 살펴보면 다음과 같다.
  유치원 교사의 신념은 전체 평균이 5.24였다. 이러한 결과는 중간 집단의 접수가 5.25로 나타난 Yoo(1996이)의 연구에 비추어 볼 때 유치원 교사의 신념은 중간 집단에 속한다고 볼 수 있다.
  문해 발달에 대한 유치원 교사 신념의 배경 변인에 따라 어떠한 차이가 있는지 알아 본 결과 학력은 문해 발달에 대한 교사의 신념에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 경력은 문해 발달에 대한 유치원 교사의 신념에 일부 영향을 미쳤다.
  총체적 언어접근법을 배운 경험의 유무는 유치원 교사의 신념에 영향을 미쳤다.

영문 초록

  This study looks at the beliefs of incumbent kindergarten teachers on literacy development the beliefs of the kindergarten teachers. Also a comparison on the difference that could result from different academic background, work experience and whether or not there is experience in overall linguistic approach is made. Below are the results from the study.
  Belief of kindergarten teachers on literacy development.
  Average belief value of kindergarten teachers was 5.24. This result shows that the belief of kindergarten teachers belong to a middle group, when compared to the study by Yoo (1996), which showed the score of middle group to be 5.25.
  An analysis was made to find out how changes in factors that make kindergarten teachers’ belief on literacy development affect the overall belief, and it showed that academic background affects the teachers’ belief on literacy development. Job experience had partial effects on kindergarten teachers’ belief on literacy development.
  Whether or not there is an experience in overall linguistic approach also has an effect on kindergarten teachers’ belief.
