국문 초록
본 연구는 부모의 사회 인구학적 변인, 양육태도 및 일치정도가 자녀의 정서지능과 어떤 관계가 있는지를 규명하고자 만 5세 유아 218명과 그들의 어머니와 아버지를 대상으로 이루어졌다. 결과로서 아버지는 자율적 태도가, 어머니는 애정적, 적대적, 통제적 태도가 높았으며 부모의 학력, 직업유무, 직업유형, 연령은 유아의 정서지능과 관계가 없었다. 또한 어머니가 자율적, 애정적 태도일 때 자녀의 전체적인 정서지능은 높았으며 부모의 양육태도가 일치할 경우 유아의 자기조절 지능이 높은 것으로 나타났다.
영문 초록
This study was designed to examine a parent"s social population factors affecting children"s emotional intelligence and the relation between a parent"s attitude of bringing up children and the children"s emotional intelligence. Subjects of this study were 218 children, five years old, attending the private kindergartens at Bundang, Seongnam-city and their mothers and fathers.
The important results of this study were as follows;
First, according to the results analysed the parent"s attitude of bringing up children mother"s attitude was higher than father"s in the aspect of affectionate attitude, hostile attitude, and controlled attitude. But there was no statistical, significant difference by children"s gender in the parent"s attitude of bringing up children.
Second, female children were higher than male children in the children"s emotional intelligence. However, there was not a significant difference by order of their birth and their kindergarten days, but children"s personal relationship seemed to be the higher, the longer at their attending days were.
Third, there was no relation between the children"s emotional intelligence and the parent"s educational background, occupation and state of employment.
Fourth, according to the results analysed the difference of emotional intelligence by the parent"s attitude of bringing up children, the children"s emotional intelligence, such as self-cognition, personal relationship, and total intelligence etc., showed higher when their mother"s attitude had been self-controlled and affectionate.
Fifth, the children"s intelligence of self-control seemed to be higher when the parent"s attitude of bringing up children was consistent than it was inconsistent.
