국문 초록

  이 글은 진화경제학과 포스트 케인지언 입장에서 기업이론을 재구성하려는 시도이다. 진화경제학에서 기업은 현실의 시간과 공간에 위치하며 장기성장과 생존을 추구하는 실체이자 다양한 사회적 관계에 착근된 조직이다. 그러나 자본주의 사회의 운동원리를 조망하는 진화적 기업이론에는 기업활동에 대한 구체적이고 실증적인 분석이 미비하다. 이러한 이론적 결여는 진화적 원리를 토대로 하는 포스트 케인지언 미시경제이론으로 보완될 수 있다. 두 접근법의 현실주의적 결합은 기업의 전략적, 행동주의적, 관리적 특성을 설명하고, 특히 기업의 가격설정과 투자결정 메커니즘이 상호의존적이고 기업의 목표를 달성하기 위한 전략적 행위임을 규명한다. 나아가서 진화적 포스트 케인지언 기업이론은 거시경제 현상을 설명할 수 있는 근거를 제공한다.

영문 초록

  This paper attempts to reformulate the theory of the business enterprise from an evolutionary Post Keynesian perspective. To do so, it is noted that the evolutionary framework illuminates the fact that the business enterprise which is embedded in the larger social context is an organizational going concern seeking long-run survival and growth. The evolutionary framework, however, does not provide us with detailed accounts of business activities. When such a theoretical loophole is filled with Post Keynesian microeconomic theories of pricing and investment, we can better explain strategic, behavioral, and managerial characteristics of the enterprise. The present approach also tells us that pricing and investment mechanisms are interdependent and inseparable mechanisms operating to achieve the goal of the enterprise. Furthermore, it sheds light on microfoundations of macroeconomic events.
