영문 초록

  This study shows a matter of concern, leisure activity and healthy life on the object of 938 (General high school male: 265, female: 213, Technical high school male: 250, female: 210) senior high school teachers.
  The results are as follows;
  A. The necessary of leisure activity
   1. In the mental aspect, the highest rates of teachers who think they dissolve spiritual stress are 45.0% in general and 48.1% in technical high school.
   2. In the physical aspect, the rates of teachers who think they keep their health rhythm with activity are 67.6% in general and 64.8% in technical high school.
   3. In the social aspect, the rates of teachers who think leisure activity is important for developing relationship with people are 40.8% in general and 42.4% in technical high school.
  B. The Present Situation of Leisure Activity
   1. The most common leisure activity is reading books. The rates are 16.3% in general and 21.7% in technical high school. Watching TV, listening to radio & music, Climbing mountains go after that.
   2. The most desirable leisure activity is traveling. The rates are 34.1% general and 40.4% in technical high school.
   3. The rates of teachers who spend less than an hour per day at week day are 43.3% in general and 43.5% in technical high school.
   4. The most common amount of time for leisure activity on weekend is as follows;
   General high school teachers; 2-3 hours (24.1%)
   Technical high school teachers; 4-5 hours (24.2%)
   5. The rates of teachers who answered leisure facilities are not enough are 52.7% in general and 53.5% in technical high school.
   6. The expense for leisure activity is such as follows;
   General Technical
   10,000-30,000 Won: 29.1% 36.7%
   30,000-50,000 Won: 30.4% 31.7%
   Therefore, in general they spend between 10,000 and 50,000 won for activity.
  C. Leisure Activity and Sports.
   1. The rates of teachers who do physical exercise regularly are 11.9% in general and 20.2% in technical high school.
    1-1) The primary reason for doing physical exercise is for dereloping their health condition. The rates are 43.5% in general 40.5% in technical high school.
    1-2) The primary reason for not doing physical exercise is lack of time. 46.6% in general 52.4% in technical high school.
   2. The favorite sports of teachers for both field (generaland technical) are Tennis (19.5%), Table tennis (14.4%), Gymnastics (9.3%), Soccer (8.4%), Badminton (7.9%), and etc.
   3. The desirable sports of teachers for both fields (general and technical) are Swimming (11.0%), Tennis (10.9%), Bowling (8.0%), Riding a horse (7.7%), and etc.
   4. Normally, they enjoy their leisure activity near their house. The rates are 32.8% in general and 40.8% in technical high school.
  D. Concern for Health
   1. Sleeping (35.5%), good nutrition (29.5%) and regular physical exercise (20.5%) are the most common leisure activity for teachers in both fields.
   2. The rates of teachers who did not have health diagnosis from doctor with in a year are 54.6% in general 65.2% in technical high school.
   3-1) The rates of teachers who feel weariness at working time are 91.0% in general and 82.4% in techical high school.
   3-2) The rates of teachers who feel mental stress at working time are 48.1% in general and 55.7% in technical high school.
   4. The rates of teachers whose sleeping time is between 6 and 7 hours are 67.2% in general and 69.0% in technical high school.
   5. Among teachers, the rate of male smoker who smoke between 10 and 20 cigarettes is 3
