영문 초록

  The purpose of this study was to provide basic information on the physique and physical fitness between Alpine ski players and Crosscountry ski players. The data were measured from 10 Korean excellent players of Alpine ski and those of Crosscountry ski. The results of comparison are as follows.
  1. The Crosscountry ski players had higher mean and standard deviation(S.D.) in height, weight, sitting height, chest girth, girth of upper arm, girth of forearm, and girth of thigh than the Alpine ski players while in lower limb length the Alpine ski players had higher mean and S.D. than the others.
  2. The Alpine ski players had a little higher mean and S.D. in the grip strength, back strength, and sargent jump than the Crosscountry ski players while in the muscular endurance test the Crosscountry ski players had higher mean and S.D. than the others.
  3. The Crosscountry ski players had higher mean and S.D. in the trunk extension and side step test than the Alpine ski players while in the trunk flexion the Alpine ski players had higher mean and S.D. than the others.
  4. The Alpine ski players had a little higher mean and S.D. in the balance test than the Crosscountry ski players.
  5. In general, the Crosscountry ski players had higher mean and S.D. than the Alpine ski players in physique, but it was reversed in physical fitness.
