장애학생에 대한 학업성취도 검사 조정의 타당화를 위한 문항 편파성 연구

국문 초록

  본 연구는 시각, 청각, 지체장애 및 학습장애 학생들에게 본인이 희망하는 검사 조정 조건을 제공함으로써 장애로 인한 제한 조건을 최대한 제거 또는 완화한 경우, 표준화검사의 기본전제를 위반한 셈임에도 불구하고, 그 결과를 표준 조건에서 얻어진 일반학생의 그것과 동일한 의미를 가진 것으로 해석할 수 있는지 즉, 비교가능성이 있다고 할 수 있는지를 일반학생과 장애학생 집단간의 문항 편파성 존재 여부를 중심으로 비교분석하고, 편파성이 유의한 경우 그러한 문항 편파성을 유발하는 원인이 무엇인지를 탐색하여 향후 장애학생을 위한 적절한 검사 조정 방안을 마련하는 데 시사점을 얻기 위하여 이루어졌다. 검사 조정조건에서 검사를 마친 특수학교 중등부 3학년 학생 중 131명(시각 40, 청각 39, 지체부자유 36, 학습장애 16)과 표준조건에서 검사에 임한 일반학생 중 98명을 결합표집하여 문항별 정답률에 의한 델타플롯 방법을 적용하여 문항 편파성을 분석한 결과 편파성이 유의한 일부 문항들이 확인되었다. 그리고 이러한 문항 편파성이 오답매력도에서 기인했다고 보기는 어렵다는 가능성이 제시되었다.

영문 초록

  The purpose of this study was to investigate the technical adequacy of accommodated test, by focusing on the comparability of test scores obtained by the RES(non-disabled Regular Education Students) in the standard condition and by the SWD(Students With Disabilities) in the modified or accommodated condition. And the comparability of test scores was investigated mainly in terms of item bias. The participants of this study were 143 9th-grade SWD(visual, hearing, physical) from 31 special schools nation-wide, 21 9th-grade resource-room students recognized as having learning disability(LD), and 520 9th-grade RES. And for the SWD, maximum test accommodations were allowed. From the total 520 RES participants, subjects with the same gender and the same total score in the achievement test against subjects in each SWD group were randomly sampled in 1:1 correspondence-matching method. In the item bias analyses by delta-plot method, some items were detected as functioning favorable to RES and some items were detected as functioning favorable to SWD. But, these items were almost entirely different with the items detected by Chi-square verification for the ratio of wrong answer. This result implied that the attractiveness to incorrect choices may not be the cause of item bias between SWD and RES detected by delta-plot method.
