It hasn"t much known when or where Daesengyuckjeu-ngchamhoe was written by Great Priest Wonhyo in his life span. However, there are several conspicuous traits about this "confession". In these traits, the most great o ne is clarified as following in the end of “是名大乘六情懺 悔” by himself.
Even if this thesis is short, I tried to solve some pro blems about the scope and omissions of characters in t his work by myself. And I also tried to analyse why th e author makes the name of the work by himself. Espe cially, I clarify that what has been obscure about idea d ue to the unclear parts of examples of "St?ra" is come f rom the "Roaring Bodisatuba chapter", the excerpt from northern Nirv? ?a st?ra, as source texts. The ideas of e xcerpt shows that Buhhata-nature is equal to Karma an d the means to get rid of "Six sentient organs(六情放逸)" can be come from the confession. The recovery of Buh hata-nature can be achieved through the procedure that starts from the "self-shame(?愧)" as the fundamental ba sis of confession and ends in the enlightenment by the pledge about the powerful supplication of Buddh?.
However you can be attracted to the Great Evil by t he vicious Karma, even if you have some belief about t he discipline against the Great Evil. The discipliner can discipline himself by "four things" such as confession, pe rsuasion, joyfulness and altruistic help which are also th e way to do away with the any obstacle in disciplinary. The method as a whole to remove as the ‘禮拜諸佛" whi ch can be adopted to any case has five elements includ ing "pay respect to Buddh?(禮佛)" with four elements su ch as, confession, persuasion, joyfulness and altruistic h elp which are included in the method as particular one.
This procedure can be classified into five gradual pha ses such as, jivitendriya, Buddh?, dhamma, samgha and realizing-result in Daesengyuckjeungchamhoe. In conclus ion, Tackpng refuge in Bbuddh?, Dhamma, Samgha can be established as true Mah?y?na Dhamma through the c onfession.
