중국 대학교육 개혁의 동향

국문 초록

  본 연구는 중국의 근대 대학이 형성되기 시작한 아편전쟁부터 현재까지 대학교육 개혁이 어떻게 진행되었고, 현재 대학 교육개혁의 흐름이 어떠한지를 살펴보았다. 중국의 대학교육은 지금까지 몇 번의 커다란 역사적 굴곡을 거쳤다. 예를 들면, 아편전쟁 이후 외국과의 교류가 빈번해지면서 서양 및 일본 교육을 모방했고, 신중국 성립 이후에는 소련식 교육을 모방하였다. 그후, 대학교육 개혁의 암흑기라 할 수 있는 문화대혁명을 거쳐 1978년 개혁·개방 이후에는 중국의 대학교육이 회복되고 개선되기 시작했다. 최근 중국 대학교육의 개혁동향으로 세계 수준의 100대 중점대학 계획, 중점학과 육성의 211공정, 대학의 통합화, 국제화 추구, 대학입학제도의 개혁 등을 들 수 있다. 이러한 중국의 대학교육 개혁은 비록 사회주의 체제라는 개혁의 한계도 있지만 과학·기술교육 개혁에 대한 집중적 투자, 중국 고등교육시장의 활용, 중국의 고등교육시장 개방에 따른 고등교육에 대한 자가 진단 등 국가 경쟁력 제고라는 점에서 우리에게 적지 않은 시사점을 제공한다.

영문 초록

  The purpose of this study is to investigate how the innovation of chinese university education was proceeded and the trend of it from Opium War from which Chinese modern university began to form to present. Chinese university education has flowed big historic bends. For example, the imitation of West and Japan education has happened since Opium War with exchanges between nations, and the imitation of Soviet Union way education has happened after new Chinese organization. After that, Chinese university education began to get back and improve after innovation opening in 1978 via wen hua da ge ming(文化大革命) that called the off season of Chinese university education innovation   Recently, there are the trends such as world 100 emphasis university plan, 211 processes of emphasis learning and upbringing, integration anger of university, hunting of internationalization, innovation of university matriculation system etc in Chinese university education innovation. Though there is the limit of innovation in socialism system it provides us with thought-provoking such as intensive investment for technical education innovation, the improvement of country competitive power with practical use of Chinese higher education market.
