생태소양 증진 미술 수업의 효과성 연구

국문 초록

기후변화 시대에 지속 가능한 삶을 위해 인간과 자연의 공존과 개인의 생각과 행동 양식뿐만아니라 문제원인을 찾으며 생태행동 실천을 공유하고 확산하는 생태전환 교육이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구는 기후변화 대응을 위한 생태소양 이론 연구를 바탕으로 초등학생 1, 2학년 대상으로 미술수업지도안을 구안하였고, 서울시 마포구에 있는 M초등학교 38명을 대상으로 교육을 실시 한 후 생태소양의 효과성을 검증하기 위해 양적 연구를 실시하였다. 생태소양의 하위 영역인 인지적 영역, 정의적 영역, 행동적 영역에 관계된 설문지 15문항을 리커트 척도 5 단계로 구성하여 사용하여 t 검정을 실시하였으며, 유의수준은 .05로 설정하였다. 수업 사전과 사후검사를 검증한 결과 생태소양의 하위영역인 인지적 영역, 정의적 영역, 행동적 영역에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 생태소양의 하위 요소 중 사전과 사후의 평균 차이가 가장 큰 영역은 인지적 영역이며, 가장 적은 영역은 정의적 영역의 생태적 감수성이었다. 분석 결과 인지적 영역은 학습에 의해 즉각적으로 변화를 유도할 수 있으나, 생태적 감수성의 영역은 그렇지 않다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 결론적으로 기후변화 대응을 위한 생태전환 미술 수업이 생태소양 증진에 긍정적인 효과를 미친다는 것이 검증되었다.

영문 초록

In the era of climate change, to achieve coexistence between humans and nature and sustainable life, ecological transition education is needed that not only finds the cause of problems but also shares and spreads ecological behavior practices. Accordingly, this study designed an art class plan for first and second grade elementary school students based on ecological literacy theory for responding to climate change, and conducted quantitative research to verify the effectiveness after providing education to 38 students at M Elementary School in Mapo-gu, Seoul. A t-test was conducted using 15 questionnaire items related to the cognitive, affective, and behavioral domains of ecological literacy, which were composed of a 5-level Likert scale, and the significance level was set at .05. As a result of the pre- and post-tests, statistically significant differences were found in 3 domains of ecological literacy. Among the domains, the area with the largest average difference between pre- and post-test was the cognitive area, and the smallest average difference was the ecological sensitivity of the affective area. The results confirmed that the cognitive domain can be immediately changed through learning, but the sensitivity domain cannot. In conclusion, it was verified that the ecological transition art class for responding to climate change had a positive effect on promoting ecological literacy.
