국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 2022 개정 교육과정이 지향하는 깊이 있는 학습을 위해, 개념적 렌즈의 활용이 사회과 수업에 어떤 변화를 줄 수 있는지 그 가능성과 어려움을 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 개념기반학습이론에 따른 수업 설계와 시연을 예비교사들과 함께하였고, 그 결과 다음의 어려움과 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다. 개념적 렌즈를 활용한 사회과 수업은 성취기준과 개념적 렌즈의 정합성 문제, 안내 질문 만들기의 어려움, 수업 설계와 수업 실현의 차이 등의 어려움이 있지만, 수업에서 학습의 전이, 교수자와 학습자의 주체성 강화 등이 포착되어 활용의 가능성을 살필 수 있었다. 본 연구는 시너지를 내는 사고와 전이력 높은 학습이 이루어지는 사회과 수업을 실현하는 구체적 방법으로 ‘개념적 렌즈’의 활용을 분석하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the possibilities and challenges of how the use of conceptual lenses can change social studies instruction for deeper learning as envisioned by the 2022 revised curriculum. To this end, preservice teachers designed and demonstrated lessons based on the theory of concept-based learning. The results showed that social studies lessons using conceptual lenses were challenging due to problems of alignment of achievement standards and conceptual lenses, difficulties in creating guiding questions and differences between lesson design and lesson implementation. However, the usefulness of conceptual lenses was found by capturing the transfer of learning in lessons and strengthening the agency of teachers and learners. The significance of this study is that it analyzed the use of ‘conceptual lens’ as a concrete way to realize a social studies classroom where synergistic thinking and transferable learning occur. This study recommends further research on '‘concepts’ that can be utilized as conceptual lenses for practical changes in social studies classrooms.
