국문 초록
Aiming to enhance the quality of life and academic performance of medical students, this study sought to categorise the factors impacting student burnout into interpersonal relationships, social support, and self-efficacy, and examine their interrelationships. Measurements of these factors and burnout were taken amongst medical students, with a response rate of approximately 81% (407 students). Social support and self-efficacy were assumed as mediators, with burnout as the dependent variable. The efficacy was verified through structural equation modelling. The overall fit of the structural model was deemed good, based on comprehensive consideration of fit indices. The findings revealed that better interpersonal relationships, social support, and self-efficacy in medical students resulted in less burnout. This suggests the importance of fostering positive self-perception and relationships among professors and students to reduce burnout and enhance the quality of life and studies. It also highlights the need for attentiveness and consideration towards students struggling with interpersonal relationships in medical school.
