영아의 예술경험에서 나타나는 신체표현에 대한 교사 상호작용 사례연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 사례연구로서 예술경험을 통한 신체표현의 상호작용에 어려움을 느끼는 영아반 교사에게 도움이 될 수 있는 자료를 제공하여 예술경험을 통한 신체표현의 활성화를 도모하는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법은 관찰과 면담이며, 2021년 9월부터 2개월간 2세반 영아 5명과 담임교사 1명을 대상으로 하였다. 연구결과, 영아의 비이동 동작과 이동 동작, 조작 동작을 사용한 신체표현이 나타남과 동시에 제4차 어린이집 표준보육과정 중 예술경험 내용범주인 ‘아름다움 찾아보기’와 ‘창의적으로 표현하기’에 해당하는 예술경험을 통한 신체표현이 발현되고 있음이 확인되었다. 만 2세반 영아들은 ‘아름다움 찾아보기’에서 자연과 생활에서 아름다움을 느끼고 즐기며신체표현을 하는 것으로 나타났고 ‘창의적으로 표현하기’에서 익숙한 노래와 리듬으로 신체표현을 하고 움직임과 춤으로 자유롭게 신체표현을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 교사의 상호작용은 ‘주의깊게 관찰하기’, ‘긍정적 언어와 비언어로 상호작용하기’, ‘영아와 함께 신체표현하기’로 나타났으며 이러한 교사의 상호작용으로 인하여 신체표현을 하지 않는 것에서 신체표현을 시도하는 것으로, 한 가지 동작의 표현에서 다양한 표현의 동작으로, 혼자만의 표현에서 함께 어울려 만들어내는 표현으로 변화하는 모습이 확인되었다. 교사는 예술경험을 통한 신체표현에 대하여 영아가흥미를 찾도록 하는 것과 비참여에 대해 수긍하고 시도해 볼 수 있도록 하는 것을 어려워했으나영아가 흥미를 느끼고 시도해 볼 수 있도록 유도하며 긍정적으로 상호작용하기 위해 노력하는모습을 확인할 수 있었다. 예술경험을 통한 신체표현에서의 긍정적 교사 상호작용은 영아의 신체표현을 확장시키며 영아와 교사간 예술경험이 상호 호혜적으로 발전할 뿐 아니라 현장에서의일상적 예술경험과 이를 통한 신체표현을 보다 자유롭게 표현하며 창출할 것이다.

영문 초록

This case study aims to facilitate physical expression through artistic experiences by providing materials for infant teachers who encounter difficulties in fostering such interactions. The research utilized observation and intervews, Over a two-month period starting from September 2021, five infants and a homeroom teacher participated. The results of the study, confirmed the emergence of physical expression among infants through non-movement, movement, and manipulation. Furthermore, physical expression was expressed through artistic experiences corresponding to categories such as 'finding beauty' and 'creative expression' during the 4th standard childcare course at daycare centers. It was found that second-generation infants experienced and enjoyed beauty in nature and life through 'searching for beauty’ and expressed themselves physically by engaging with familiar songs, rhythms, and movements and dances, demonstrating 'creative expression'. Teacher behavior was found to include careful observation, positive non-verbal interaction', and 'physical expression'. As a result of the teacher's interaction, it was confirmed that the infants progressed from not expressing their bodies to attempting expressions, from limited movements to various expressions, ultimately culminating in collective expression. It was difficult for the teachers to engage the infants in physical expression through artistic experiences and to encourage them to participate, but they observed attempts by the infants to interact positively, which fostered interest and a willingness to try among the infants. In conclusion, ositive teacher interaction during physical expression through artistic experiences enhances infants' body expression. This not only fosters mutually beneficial artistic experiences between infants and teachers, but also encourages free body expression.
