초등학생 대상 무용교육 프로그램 개발 및 적용을 위한 실행연구 : ‘2022 꿈의 무용단 운영사업’ 사례를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학생을 대상으로 전통탈춤에 기반한 무용교육 프로그램을 개발 및 운영하고 그 과정을 분석하여 초등무용교육 현장에 적용하고 활성화할 수 있는 방안을 탐색하고자 한 실행연구이다. 연구 절차는 계획, 실행, 관찰, 평가의 과정으로 이루어졌으며, 자료수집 및 분석은 프로그램 개발 및 운영 과정에서 산출된 기획일지, 회의록, 수업지도안, 수업 영상과 사진, 활동일지, 관찰기록, 인터뷰, 보고서 등을 대상으로 이루어졌다. 초등학생 대상 무용교육 프로그램의 개발 및 운영을 위해 연구자 자문, 위원, 강사 총 12명이 참여하였으며, 부산지역 초등학생 4-6학년 26명을 대상으로 2022년 7월부터 9월까지 총 12차시의 프로그램을 진행하였다. 프로그램의 구성은 예술가와 함께 탈춤의 상징적인 캐릭터, 탈, 몸짓, 장단, 언어를 감상-표현-창작-공연하는 과정이며, 초등학생들이 보고 느끼고 생각하면서 움직임으로 표현할 수 있도록 하는데 중점을 두었다. 이러한 과정에서 첫째, 전통탈춤에 기반한 무용교육 프로그램을 통해 전통문화와 무용에 대한 인식을 향상시키고, 둘째, 다양한 경험을 통한 참여자들의 성찰과 변화를 확인하였으며, 셋째, 문화예술교육에 대한 예술대학의 역할을 실행할 수 있었다. 이를 토대로 초등무용교육의 활성화를 위한 방안으로는 지속적인 프로그램의 개발과 연구, 교수 전문성 강화 및 문화예술교육에 대한 관점을 공유할 수 있는 학습공동체 형성, 문화예술교육의 토대로써 예술대학의 사회적 역할 인식과 변화를 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This study is an implementation study aimed at developing and operating dance education programs based on traditional mask dance for elementary school students and analyzing the process to explore ways to apply and activate them in the field of elementary dance education. The research process consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and evaluation, and data collection and analysis were conducted on planning diaries, minutes, class guidance, class videos and photos, activity diaries, observation records, interviews, and implementation reports produced during the program development and operation process. A total of 12 researchers, advisors, and instructors participated in the development and operation of dance education programs for elementary school students, and a total of 12 programs were held from July to September 2022 for 26 elementary school students in Busan. The composition of the program is the process of appreciating, expressing, creating, and performing symbolic characters, masks, gestures, rhythms, and languages of mask dance with artists, and focused on allowing elementary school students to express themselves through movement while seeing, feeling, and thinking. In this process, first, it was possible to confirm the improvement of awareness of traditional culture and dance through dance education programs based on traditional mask dance, second, reflection and change of participants through various experiences, and third, the role of art colleges in culture and arts education.
