자연친화활동이 유아의 생명체 친화적 태도 및 생명과학개념에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 자연친화활동이 유아의 생명체 친화적 태도 및 생명과학개념에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 대상은 K시 A유치원의 실험집단 유아 14명과 비교집단 유아 14명 총 28명이었다. 실험은 실험집단에는 놀이중심 기반 자연친화활동을 실시하고 비교집단은 놀이중심 교육활동을 8주 동안, 매주 2회, 총16회를 실시하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 24.0프로그램으로 척도화 분석, 기술통계, 독립표본 t 검증을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 자연친화활동을 실시한 실험집단 유아들이 비교집단 유아보다 생명체 친화적 태도 및 생명과학개념이 향상되었다. 이러한 결과는 자연친화활동은 생명체 친화적 태도 및 생명과학개념 증진에 긍정적 영향을 미치다는 것을 알 수 있다. 따라서 자연친화활동은 유아의 생명체 친화적 태도 및 생명과학개념 향상을 위한 활동으로 유아교육현장에서 적극적으로 실천해 볼 가치가 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of nature-friendly activities on children's life-friendly attitudes and life science concepts. The study was conducted on a total of 28 children, including 14 children in the experimental group and 14 children in the comparison group, from Kindergarten A in K City. In the experiment, nature-friendly activities were conducted for the experimental group, and play-centered activities were conducted for the comparison group twice a week for 8 weeks, a total of 16 times. Data analysis was performed using SPSS 24.0 program, including scaling analysis, descriptive statistics, and independent sample t test. As a result of the study, children in the experimental group who performed nature-friendly activities had more life-friendly attitudes and life science concepts than children in the control group. These results show that nature-friendly activities have a positive effect on promoting life-friendly attitudes and life science concepts. Therefore, nature-friendly activities are worth actively practicing as educational content during early childhood education to improve children's life- friendly attitudes and life- science concepts.
