임상 간호사의 영적돌봄 수행능력에 영향을 미치는 요인

국문 초록

본 연구는 임상간호사들의 영성과 소진, 영적 돌봄 수행능력의 관계를 파악하고, 영적돌봄 수행능력에 영향을 미지는 요인을 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사 연구이다. 서울시에 소재한 C대학병원에서 1년 이상 근무한 간호사 170명을 대상으로 설문지를 이용하여 2015년 1월 27일부터 2월 13일까지 자료를 수집하였다. 영성은 소진과 음의 상관관계(β=-0.49, p<.000)가 있었고, 영적돌봄 수행능력과는 양의 상관관계(β=0.31, p<.000)가 있었으며, 소진은 영적돌봄 수행능력과 음의 상관관계(β=-0.23, p=.004)가 있었다. 결과를 통해 간호사의 영성과 소진은 영적돌봄 수행능력에 영향을 미지는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 영적돌봄 수행능력을 높이기 위해서는 이러한 영향요인을 고려한 중재 프로그램이 필요하다. 간호사의 영성을 증진시키고, 소진을 줄일 수 있는 방안을 모색하며, 간호사를 대상으로 하는 지속적인 영적돌봄 교육이 필요하다. 또한, 간호사 자신 스스로를 영적으로 돌볼 수 있도록 영성 중진 교육이 함께 이루어져야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study is a descriptive research which aims to invest igate the correlation between clinical nurses' spir itualit y, burnout and spiritual care competence, as well as to ident ify factors that influence spiritual care competence. The data used in this study were collected from January to February 2015, from a sample of 170 Clinical Nurses who have more than 1 year of work experience at 'C' Univer sity Hospital in Seoul. Self-reported quest ionnaires were used assess spi rituality , burnout, and s pir itual care competence. The results of this study are as follows: There were significant negat ive corr elations between spir ituality and burnout , burnout and spi ritual care compet ence. Yet , there was a positive correlation between spi rituality and spir itual care competence. By analyzing the inter- influence of spir ituality, burnout and spiritual care competence through path analys is, it was discovered that the degree of spir ituality has a negative effect on burnout (B=-0.49,p<.000), while burnout had a negat ive effect on spir itual care compet ence(B=-0.23, p=.004). furthermore, the degree of spi rituality was found to have positive effect on s pir itual care competence(j3=0 . 31, p<.000). The study results above show that a clinical nurse's spir ituality and level of burnout influence his/her spi ritual care compet ence. In addition, burnout, degree of influence religion has on one's life, practice of spir itual self-care and whether he/she has received education on s pir itual care were identified as the pr imary factors that influence spir itual care competence. Therefore, in order to strengthen nurses' spir itual care competence, an intervention program that t akes all of these factors into consideration is much needed. Furthermore, it is necessary to educate nurses on s pir itual growth to enable practice of s piritual self- care.
