백워드 설계 모형을 활용한 국어과 교수·학습 과정안 설계 연구

국문 초록

본 논문은 백워드 설계 모형을 활용한 차시 수준의 국어과 교수·학습 과정안 설계를 목표로 한다. 이를 위해 기존 국어과 교수·학습 과정안을 백워드 설계 모형의 관점에서 문제점을 분석하였다. 기존 국어과 교수·학습 과정안은 다음과 같은 문제가 있었다. 첫째, 학습목표의 설정 과정이 불분명하다. 둘째, 백워드 설계 모형의 2단계 절차에 따른 평가가 계획되지 않았다. 셋째, 수업이 적절하게 계획되어 있는지 점검하는 절차를 거치지 않았다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 백워드 설계 모형의 1, 2, 3단계 절차에 맞추어 차시 수준의 새로운 교수·학습 과정안을 설계하였다. 첫째, 학생들이 도달해야하는 목표와 이해의 여섯 가지 측면을 고려하여 학습 목표를 설정하였다. 둘째, GRASPS기법을 활용하여 과정 중심 평가과제를 개발했으며, 루브릭을 마련하였다. 셋째, WHERETO 원리를 활용하여 새롭게 작성한 교수·학습 과정안의 학습 경험 및 수업을 점검하였다. 그리고 백워드 설계 모형을 활용하여 차시 수준의 교수·학습 과정안을 설계 시 한계점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 백워드 설계 모형은 차시 수준의 설계에 활용하기 난해하다. 둘째, 1단계의 영속한 이해를 설정하는 방법이 너무 어렵다. 본 연구가 백워드 설계 모형에 기반한 차시 설계 예시 자료로서 유용하게 활용될 수 있기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study aims to design a lesson plan for Korean language education at the level of a single class using the backward design model. To achieve this goal, the problems of the existing Korean language education curriculum are analyzed from the perspective of the backward design model. Then, a new teaching and learning plan is designed at the level of a single class according to the three steps of the backward design model. Firstly, learning objectives are established by considering six aspects of goals and understanding that students need to achieve. Secondly, process-centered evaluation tasks are developed using the GRASPS technique, and a rubric is provided. Thirdly, the learning experience and class of the newly written teaching and learning process are checked using the WHERETO principle. The limitations of using the backward design model to design a lesson plan at the level of a single class are as follows: First, it is difficult to use the backward design model for designing at the level of a single class. Second, it is difficult to establish a persistent understanding in step 1. It is expected that this study will be useful as an example of a lesson plan design based on the backward design model.
