보훈병원 직원의 보훈대상자 방문진료 인식에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 보훈병원 직원의 보훈대상자 방문진료에 대한 인식을 조사함으로써, 보훈대상자 방문진료사업 추진에 관한 시사점을 도출하고자 수행되었다. 연구목적을 달성하고자 본 연구에서는 방문진료의 개념과 효과에 관한 문헌고찰을 수행하였으며, 전국 6개 보훈병원에 재직 중인 의사, 간호사, 의료기사 및 행정직원들을 대상으로 방문진료에 관한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 설문지 중 통계분석에 적합한 316부를 SPSS 프로그램을활용하여 분석하였다. 주요 결과와 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 조사대상의 대부분이 방문진료가 필요하다고 응답한분석결과는 방문진료사업의 추진에 긍정적인 요소로 판단된다. 둘째, 방문진료 시 가능한 진료와검사 및 교육의 범위가 포괄적으로 나타나 방문진료가 보훈대상자들의 다양한 의료욕구를 충족시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 셋째, 하루에 가능한 방문진료 시간은 2시간 미만이 많았으며, 적합한 방문진료의 횟수는 주 1회로 나타났다. 따라서 보훈대상자들의 방문진료 수요를 충족시키기 위해서는 충분한 전담인력의 확보가 중요한 것으로 판단된다. 넷째, 방문진료 수가를 현실성 있게확보할 수 있도록 면밀한 준비가 필요하다. 다섯째, 의료사고, 의료진의 안전, 방문진료 차량 확보등 방문진료를 위한 고려사항들을 충분히 반영할 필요가 있다. 방문진료는 보훈대상자를 직접 찾아가서 진료하는 방식으로 내원 중심에서 더 나아가 보훈의료서비스 제공의 폭을 넓힘으로써 보훈대상자들의 의료욕구를 충족시켜 준다는 점에서 보건학적 함의와 정책적 중요성이 크다. 향후 방문진료 사업의 원활한 추진을 위해 충분한 예산과 인력이 확보될 수 있도록 거버넌스의 강한 의지가 필요하다.

영문 초록

This study aims to provide insights into the veterans ' home visiting healthcare service by investigating the perceptions of veterans hospital staff regarding visiting treatment for veterans. To achieve this goal, the study conducted a comprehensive literature review on the concept and effectiveness of visiting treatment. Subsequently, a survey was conducted among doctors, nurses, physical/occupational therapists, and administrative staff working at six veterans medical centers nationwide. Among the collected questionnaires, 316 responses suitable for statistical analysis were processed using the SPSS 27.0 program. The main findings and implications of this study are as follows: First, the majority of survey participants expressed a positive view on the necessity of visiting treatment, highlighting its role in enhancing veterans' home visiting healthcare services. Second, it is expected that visiting treatment should encompass a wide range of medical services, examinations, and educational support to effectively address the diverse medical needs of veterans.. Third, the availability of visiting treatment sessions was limited to less than two hours per day, with the optimal frequency being once a week To meet the demand for visiting treatment among veterans, it is crucial to allocate sufficient dedicated personnel. Fourth, adequate financial planning is essential to realistically secure the funding required for effective implementation of visiting medical treatment. Fifth, it is necessary to carefully consider various aspects of visiting treatment, including potential medical accidents, the safety of medical staff, and the provision of necessary vehicles. Visiting treatment holds significant implications for veterans' health and policy considerations, as it expands the scope of veterans ' medical services by offering in-person visits to meet their medical needs. Successful implementation of visiting treatment projects in the future necessitates a firm commitment to governance, ensuring the allocation of adequate budget and personnel resources.
