영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to develop and implement a group art play therapy program using multiple senses to improve the sense of self-integration among the depressed elderly to verify its effectiveness. The subjects of the study included ten in an experimental group (multisensory group art play therapy programs), ten in a comparison group (group art therapy programs), and nine in a control group, with Korean Dementia Screening Questionnaire-Cognition(KDSQ-C) score of less than six and no cognitive impairment symptoms. Each program was conducted in a total of twelve sessions, 90 minutes once a week for both the experimental group and the comparison group. As a result of the study, first, depression was significantly reduced in the post-test compared to the pre-test in both the experimental group and the comparison group, and the sense of self-integration was improved. In the case of self-integration, both the experimental group and the comparison group showed significant differences in satisfaction with current life, wise life and self-value, and acceptance of past life. On the other hand, the control group showed no significant difference in the post-test.
