탐구적 대화법과 Mind Map을 활용한 사고력 신장 교수 - 학습 방법에 관한 연구

국문 초록

많은 인문고등학교 국어 교과의 전통적인 교수-학습 형태는 학생들의 자율적이고 다양한 사고가 무시된 채 대학 입시의 방향에 따라 주입과 강의로 일관하는 경향이 있다. 본 연구에서는 먼저 국어과 문학의 교수-학습 실태를 정동화 및 최운식등의 수업 모형을 중심으로 분석해 보고 문제점을 정리해 보았다. 다음으로 등장인물의 성격 바꾸기를 통하여 바교, 분류 및 문제 정의등의 기초적 사고 기능, 구성의 대립과 갈등을 통하여 상상력과 비판적 사고 능력의 개발을 위한 수업을 실시하고 평가해 보았다. 수업에서 사용한 핵심적인 방법은 탐구적 대화법과 마인드맵 방법이었다. 평가 결과는 작품의 흐름과 내용을 이해하거나 추리 · 상상의 기회를 가지게 하는 등-매우 긍정적인 것이었다. 시도한 방법은 교수-학습의 과정에서 교사-학생이 서로 촉진적/동반적인 관계를 가지며 그래서 사고력 개발에 유의하게 사용할 수 있음을 시사해 주는 것 같이 보인다.

영문 초록

The traditional instructional patterns of the Korean languague course as being used by most of the liberal arts high schools in Korean are more than often criticized neither emphasizing the student' discovering process in learning nor, in effect, succeeding in developing the thinking skills and strategies of students. Therewith, the study, firstly, attempted to review the teaching models respectively proposed by Dong-Wha Chun and Yoon-Shik Choi and to critically examine the practice of instructional patterns specifically for teaching the Korean literatures in the Korean language course in high school (grade 10 through 12). Further, through the attempt, the study identified problems and issues related to its specific teaching. On the basis, this study developed the lesson plan of the unit of 'The flower of camellia' which was a portioin of Korean literature materials, implemented its instructional practice and measured its effect on the student' thinking skills and strategies. The study speciically aimed to test the effectiveness of the conversational inquiring method and the mind-mapping technique. The lesson included changing the personalities of actors, developing conflicts in plot and others. They were introduced in conjuction with the purpose of developing the basic thinking skills including classification and imaging and the critical thinking such as approaching from the multiple perspectives. The results obtained were found very positive. Not only the observation of lesson proceedings but also the survey administered to students clearly showed the evidence of effectiveness and promise of the methods used in the study.
