어린이집 교사의 의사소통능력과 문제해결능력 간 관계

국문 초록

본 연구는 어린이집교사의 의사소통능력과 문제해결능력의 관계를 밝히는데 목적이 있다. 연구 대상은 서울에 소재하고 있는 어린이집에 재직 중인 교사 240명이며 수집된 자료는 SPSS 20.0을 이용하여 어린이집교사의 배경변인에 따른 의사소통능력과 문제해결 능력의 차이를 알아보기 위해 t 검정과 일원변량분석, Duncan 사후검증, 관계를 알아보기 위해 Person r 상관관계 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 어린이집교사의 연령층에 따른 의사소통능력은 연령이 높고, 대학원이상 학력과 경력이 높은 교사들의 의사소통능력이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어린이집교사의 문제해결능력도 의사소통처럼 연령이 높고, 대학원이상 학력과 경력이 높은 교사들의 문제해결능력이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 어린이집교사의 의사소통능력과 문제해결능력 간의 관계에서는 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타나 의사소통능력이 높은 교사들이 문제해결능력도 높은 것을 예측할 수 있다. 의사소통능력 하위 영역과 문제해결능력 하위 영역 간에도 유의미한 정적 상관관계를 보였으며, 특히 반응과 문제규정과 구성화 영역 및 반응과 대안적 해결방안, 산출 능력 간에 높은 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 어린이집교사의 의사소통능력에 따라 교사의 문제해결능력에도 긍정적인 영향을 미치게 되는 것을 예측 할 수 있으며, 이는 어떤 문제가 생겼을 때 문제를 해결하고자 하는 목표에 따라 주어진 모든 기회를 활용하여 도전을 통해 극복하고자 하는 노력이 의사소통능력을 통해 이러한 차이를 신속하고 효과적으로 해소시킬 수 있는 교사의 직무능력이 필요함을 의미한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the difference and correlation between communication ability and problem solving ability through day care center teachers. The subjects were 240 day care center teachers in Seoul. For data analysis, ANOVA, Duncan`s post test to investigate specific difference between groups, and Pearson`s correlation coefficient analysis were conducted using SPSS 20.0 program. The major findings of the present study were as follows: Firstly, among variables of daycare center teachers, it was identifies that communication ability was generally high for higher age, graduate school degree and educational experience group than lower age, graduate degree and educational experience group. Secondly, among variables of daycare center teachers, it was identifies that problem solving ability was generally high for graduate school degree and educational experience group than lower age, graduate degree and educational experience group in general. Thirdly, it was predictable that teachers with high communication ability have higher problem solving ability as a relationship between communication ability and problem solving ability of daycare center teachers are identified to have significantly positive relationship. Subdivisions of communication ability and subdivisions of problem solving ability showed significantly positive relationship, and specially, a relationship between response, problem identification, and configuration area, and a relationship between response, alternative problem, and calculation showed high correlation.
