초등학교 고학년이 지각한 부모의 양육태도가 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향: 정서문제의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 한국아동·청소년패널조사 2018(KYCPS 2018)의 초등학교 4학년 패널 2차 연도와 3차 연도의 자료를 사용하여, 초등학교 고학년이 지각한 부모의 양육태도와 삶의 만족도 사이에서 정서문제가 매개하는지를 구조적으로 살펴보고자 하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21.0과 AMOS 21.0을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등학교 고학년들이 지각한 부모의 양육 태도, 정서문제, 삶의 만족도 사이에는 서로 유의한 상관을 보이고 있다. 둘째, 초등학교 고학년이 지각한 부모의 긍정적 양육태도와 부정적 양육태도는 정서 문제에 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 삶의 만족도에 대해서는 긍정적 양육태도가 유의한 영향을 주는 것에 반해, 부정적 양육태도는 유의한 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 정서문제는 삶의 만족도에 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 부모의 양육태도와 삶의 만족도 사이에서 정서문제의 매개효과를 살펴본 결과, 긍정적 양육태도와 삶의 만족도 사이에서 정서문제는 부분매개효과를, 부정적 양육태도와 삶의 만족도 사이에서 정서문제는 완전매개효과가 있음을 확인하였다. 부트스트랩 검증을 통하여 간접효과 검증을 실시하였다. 본 연구는 부모의 양육태도에 따라 초등학교 고학년들의 삶의 만족도에 미치는 과정에서 정서문제가 어떠한 역할을 하는지를 이해하는데 도움을 준다는 점에 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study used data from the 2nd and 3rd years of the panel of the 4th graders of elementary school of the Korea Children and Youth Panel Survey 2018 (KYCPS 2018). The purpose of the study was to structurally examine whether emotional problems mediate between parental parenting attitudes and life satisfaction perceived by upper elementary school students. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0. The research results are as follows. First, there is a significant correlation between parental parenting attitudes, emotional problems, and life satisfaction perceived by upper elementary school students. Second, it was found that the positive and negative parenting attitudes of parents perceived by the upper grades of elementary school had a significant effect on emotional problems. It was found that a positive parenting attitude had a significant effect on life satisfaction, whereas a negative parenting attitude did not have a significant influence. Emotional problems were found to have a significant effect on life satisfaction. Third, as a result of examining the mediating effect of emotional problems between parents' parenting attitude and life satisfaction, emotional problems showed a partial mediating effect between positive parenting attitude and life satisfaction. It was confirmed that emotional problems had a completely mediating effect between negative parenting attitudes and life satisfaction. The indirect effect was verified through bootstrap verification. This study is meaningful in that it helps to understand the role of emotional problems in the process of affecting the life satisfaction of upper elementary school students according to parenting attitudes.
