교수메타인지와 전문성발달을 통한 유아교사 성실성의 창의적 교수행동에 대한 영향

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 유아중심·놀이중심 개정교육과정에서 중시되는 창의적 교수행동의 다측면적 발현기제를 탐구하기 위해 유아교사의 성실성, 교수메타인지, 전문성발달 및 창의적 교수행동 간의 관계를 분석하였다. 이러한 연구목적을 위해 수도권 소재 유아교육기관에 재직 중인 유아교사 265명을 대상으로 성실성, 교수메타인지, 전문성발달 및 창의적 교수행동을 측정하였다. 수집된 자료는 구조방정식모형을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 유아교사의 전문성발달은 창의적 교수행동에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 성실성과 교수메타 인지가 창의적 교수행동에 미치는 직접적인 영향력은 유의하지 않았다. 성실성이 교수메타인지와 전문성발달에 미치는 직접적인 영향력은 유의하게 나타났고, 교수메타인지는 전문성발달에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 간접효과와 관련하여, 유아교사의 성실성은 교수메타인지와 전문성발달의 매개를 통해 창의적 교수행동에 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 유아교사의 성격적, 인지적, 지식과 기술적 요인들과 창의적 교수행동 간의 관계성을 검증함으로써 창의적 교수행동 기저의 복합적인 발현기제를 정교하고 심도 있게 기술했다는 측면에서 학술적 의의를 지닌다. 실제적 측면에서는 유아교사의 창의적 교수행동 증진을 위한 효과적인 전략 실행 방안과 교육 및 훈련 프로그램의 개발 방안을 구체적으로 모색하였다는 점에서 의미 있는 시사점을 제시한다.

영문 초록

To investigate the multidimensional mechanisms that underlie creative teaching behaviors, this study examined the relationships among early childhood teachers’ conscientiousness, teaching metacognition, expertise development, and creative teaching behaviors. The participants were 265 teachers in early childhood education centers in the Seoul metropolitan area. This study measured the teachers’ conscientiousness, teaching metacognition, expertise development, and creative teaching behaviors. Collected data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling. The results showed that early childhood teachers’ expertise development significantly influenced creative teaching behaviors. However, the effects of conscientiousness and teaching metacognition on creative teaching behaviors were not significant. Regarding indirect effects, early childhood teachers’ conscientiousness significantly influenced creative teaching behaviors through teaching metacognition and expertise development. These results suggest academic implications for describing the complicated mechanisms of creative teaching behaviors from sophisticated and in-depth perspectives. Also, they have practical implications for developing effective strategies and educational programs for the creative teaching behaviors of early childhood teachers.
