제주특별자치도 직업계고 교육의 목적에 대한 교육 참여주체 간 인식 차이 분석

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 제주 지역 직업계고 교육의 목적 설정에 필요한 제주특별자치도 교육 참여 주체 간의 인식 차이를 분석하는 것이다. 각 집단의 인식에 대한 조사 결과를 의미분별법을 활용하여 정리하였고, 직업교육 목적의 각 의미에 대한 인식 수준을 그래프로 표현하여 비교하였으며 일원배치분산분석을 통해 집단 간 차이를 검증하였다. 이 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 제주특별자치도 직업계고 교육의 목적에 대하여 지역 내 교육 참여 주체는 직무수행을 위한 전문성 함양을 강조하는 방향이 중요하다고 인식하는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 제주특별자치도 직업계고 교육은 관련 분야의 전문성과 함께 범용성이 있는 일반적 역량을 기를 수 있는 내용으로 구성되어야 한다. 이를 위해서는 “교육을 바라보는 높은 수준의 관점 전환”이 필요하다. 보통교과와 전문교과를 양분하기 보다는 통합적으로 연결할 수 있는 방향 정립을 위한 노력이 요구된다. 융합적, 자율적 학습 경험이 필수적인 시대인 만큼 특정분야에 대한 전문성과 일반적 역량이 상호 유기적으로 조화를 이루어 이상과 현실의 간극을 좁히려는 교육을 지향해야 한다. 셋째, 제주특별자치도 지역 내 산업분야의 빠른 변화 속에서도 직업계고의 전문교과 교육이 그 효용성과 가치를 확보하기 위하여 제주특별자치도와 제주특별자치도 교육청 차원에서의 산학협력 지원 체제 마련이 필요하다. 그리고 제주특별자치도 직업계고 학생, 직업계고 교사, 중학생 학부모 모두 졸업 후 바로 활용할 수 있는 구체적 기술의 습득에 대한 중요성을 높게 인식하는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 교육 참여 주체의 요구를 직업계고 교육에 충분히 반영하기 위해서는 산업기술의 최신 트렌드를 지속적으로 반영할 수 있는 제주특별자치도 지역 직업계고 산학협력 체제의 마련이 필요하다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the difference in perception between participants in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province education on the purpose of vocational high school education. The results of the survey on the perception of each group were organized using the semantic discrimination method, and the level of perception of each meaning for vocational education purposes was expressed and compared in a graph. In addition, it was verified through one-way batch variance analysis to confirm the statistical significance level of differences between each group. The conclusion of this study is as follows. First, for the purpose of vocational high school education, it was confirmed that respondents perceived the importance of emphasizing the cultivation of expertise for job performance. Most of the respondents highly recognized the importance of acquiring specific skills necessary for employment after graduation, and the importance of specialized subjects was higher than that of ordinary subjects. In addition, it was confirmed that the perception of professional curriculum education recognized the importance of practice relatively very high than theory, and thus the importance of cultivating expertise for job performance after employment. Second, vocational high school education should consist of content that can develop general competencies with general purpose along with expertise in related fields. For this, it is necessary to “change the perspective of a high level of education”(Jeong Yeon-jae, 2019). Efforts are required to establish directions that can be integrally connected rather than dividing ordinary and professional subjects. As convergent and autonomous learning experiences are essential, education should be aimed at narrowing the gap between ideal and reality by organically harmonizing expertise and general competencies in specific fields.
