후기 청소년의 자아정체감을 위한 문화예술교육 프로그램 개발 연구

국문 초록

청소년기는 Erikson이 제시한 발달과업인 자아정체감이 형성되는 시기로서, 자아정체감은 다음 단계인 성인기 이후의 삶을 위해 매우 중요한 것임에도 불구하고 우리 사회는 과도한 입시 준비로 인해 자아정체감과 관련한 교육이 미흡한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 성인기 진입을 앞두고 있는 후기 청소년들이 겪고 있는 정체감에 대한 위기와 혼란을 문화예술교육이라는 관여를 통해 건강한 자아정체감을 함양할 수 있도록 돕는 프로그램을 제공하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 자아정체감을 함양하기 위해 다양한 장르의 문화예술교육 프로그램을 구성함으로써 후기 청소년들의 흥미와 몰입을 유도할 수 있도록 개발하였다. 본 프로그램은 자아정체감이라는 상위 주제하에 6개의 하위주제를 두고, 각각의 하위주제는 4개의 차시로 구성되도록 위계를 설정하여 총 24차시 프로그램으로 개발되었다. 6개 하위주제는 박아청(2003)이 개발한 한국형 자아정체감 검사 척도의 6개 하위요소를 반영하여 선정하였으며, 6개 하위요소는 주체성, 친밀성, 주도성, 자기수용성 미래확신성, 목표지향성이다. 본 연구에서 개발된 자아정체감 형성을 위한 문화예술교육 프로그램은 수능을 마친 고3 졸업생들을 비롯하여 사회 초년생, 대학 신입생 등 후기 청소년의 오리엔테이션 프로그램으로 활용되기를 제안하며 후속 실행 연구들을 통해 효과성을 입증하고자 한다.

영문 초록

Adolescence is a period when Erikson's developmental task, identity, is formed, and although identity is very important for the next stage of life after adulthood, our society lacks education related to identity due to excessive preparation for entrance examination. The purpose of this study is to provide a program to help the late adolescents who are about to enter adulthood to develop a healthy identity through the involvement of culture and arts education in crisis and confusion about their identity. This program was developed as a total of 24 sessions with 6 sub-themes under the upper theme of identity, and a hierarchy so that each sub-theme is composed of 4 sessions. Six sub-items were selected by reflecting six sub-elements of the Korean identity test scale developed by Park A-chung (2003). The culture and art education program for the formation of identity developed in this study is proposed to be used as an orientation program for late adolescents such as senior high school graduates, social beginners, and college freshmen and it is intended to prove its effectiveness through follow-up studies.
